The luxury of instant communication that comes with email can also lead to many miscommunications and mistakes that can’t be taken back! That’s what this husband and an unsuspecting stranger had to learn the hard way below!

A couple was going to celebrate their anniversary at the same hotel in Florida where they spent their honeymoon.

Scheduling conflicts meant they had to take separate flights. The husband left on Thursday, and his wife would be flying down on the next day.
Once he had arrived, the husband sent an e-mail to his wife telling her that he had arrived and was anxiously waiting for her! A typo in the address caused his letter to go to another woman – not his wife.
The woman who got his message lived in Texas, and she got the letter after her husband’s funeral.
Her husband had died from a heart attack, and he had been a very popular minister.
The letter read:
To: My loving wife
Subject: I’ve arrived
Date: January 7, 2016
“I know you’re surprised to hear from me. They have computers here now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I’ve just arrived and have been checked in.”
“I see that everything has been prepared for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then. Hope your journey is as uneventful as mine was. P.S. Sure is hot down here!!!!!”
The poor woman screamed and fainted when she read the note. Oh man! The moral of this story is to edit your work before you hit send!

Hilarious! Just goes to show, you’ve always got to proof read your emails before sending!
