Rappers Tru Keezy and Yung Groovey thought it would be a great idea to “film” a bank robbery with their stolen “loot” being put in the back of a truck before high tailing it away from the bank. The only problem, they didn’t let the bank or local residents know they were performing a “fake” bank robbery.

To make matters worse the rappers were armed with Glock 17’s and 12 gauge shotguns. They also jumped out of a rented U-Haul truck wearing black masks brandishing their firearms in front of the TDECU Credit Union at the 1000 block of Farm to Market 2004 in Lake Jackson, Texas.

Alarmed residents and the bank quickly contacted the police who showed up ready for a showdown.

Fortunately, nothing extremely terrible happened and the police officers were extremely patient with Tru Keezy and his posse. They didn’t file any charges against the rappers, who learned a tough lesson.

Seriously, get permission and put up signs if you’re going to film a video. That’s a lot easier than having to explain a stupid video recording to a law enforcement officer who doesn’t want to hear it.

If you saw this type of action going on in front of a bank, would you have called the police? Share your voice in the comment section and let me know what you thought. Also add this story to your Twitter/Facebook timeline.
