Last night, Michael Flynn resigned from his position as National Security Adviser after revelations that he discussed important details on sanctions with the Russian ambassador without briefing Vice President Pence on the matter fully.
President Trump wasted little time in naming a successor.
Lt. General Keith Kellogg, Jr., was named Acting National Security Adviser.
Kellogg is a retired U.S. Army General Officer who served during the Vietnam War in the 101st Airborne Division. General Kellogg earned the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and the Air Medal. He also served as the Commander of the 82nd Airborne Division from 1997 to 1998. He was previously the Director of the Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Directorate under the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
His wife, Paige Cooke, is a former paratrooper and served in the 1983 Grenada invasion.
Clearly, the Kellogg family loves their country!

The first days of a new administration can be rough. What Michael Flynn did was wrong, but hopefully President Trump will learn from this and appoint better people to make this country both safe and great again!
