Eighteen Green Berets and Army officers were visiting the National Security Council in February for their Special Forces Qualification Course, or “Q-course,” when President Trump broke protocol and invited the soldiers into the Oval Office!

Visiting the National Security Council is a normal part of the course and the troops were scheduled to meet Deputy Assistant to the President Sebastian Gorka. Gorka suggested they meet the President and scheduled to take them to the Roosevelt Room in the West Wing of the Oval Office.

However, Trump decided to invite the soldiers into the Oval Office.

Gorka described the meeting to Breitbart News, ““Halfway through the discussion, [Trump] said, ‘Hey — we’re not supposed to do this but follow me, and he brought them all into the Oval Office, took a group photograph around the Resolute desk, and then — throwing the schedules into a bit of a tizzy, said OK that’s not good enough.”

Gorka continued, ““He said, ‘everybody stand in the corner.’ They all stood in the corner, and one-by-one we took photographs they can take home to their family with each future Green Beret next to the president at the Oval Office desk.”

“That’s how much he loves our soldiers — our warriors,” Gorka concluded. Gorka would later remark at CPAC on Friday that under Obama these soldiers “wouldn’t have even gotten into the West Wing.”

Photos from the event have not been publicly distributed and a source told Breitbart news that the meeting “couldn’t be publicized.” But their source also added “It’s noteworthy to take the time to do an event that couldn’t be publicized.”

This is just another event that shows how much President Donald Trump truly cares about our armed forces and the people of America. He is willing to break protocol to give them the experience of a lifetime.

I absolutely love that Donald Trump is able to take the time out of his day to meet with these officers as they embark on a path of sacrifice and commitment.

Share if you love how Donald Trump honored these Green Berets!
