Nora the Polar Bear was born November 6, 2015 at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. After about a week, her mother wasn’t quite doing her job and, after much deliberation, the team at the zoo decided to take her in for round-the-clock bear-rearing.
She weighed barely a pound. She’s been in the public eye ever since as avid fans of polar bears and baby animals have watched her adorable self grow up.
Now, 10 months later, the little girl weighs well over 150 pounds! And, she’s just moved out of her “parents’ house”, making the cross-country trek to the Oregon Zoo.
I’d say from the looks of this video, Nora is settling in well to her new home! Take a look:
Nora had a great first weekend in #PDX!

She’s super cute and curious!
For an extra dose of cuteness, here’s the video chronicling her first 3 months of life at the Columbus Zoo:
Just remember, no matter how cute Nora is, she’s headed towards 200 pounds of fun and is still not what you’d call domesticated.
And yet, I still want a baby polar bear of my very own!
