North Korea got away with so much during Barack Obama’s time in office and they thought President Donald Trump was going to be a pushover too.
North Korea’s President, Kim Jong-un, has been testing the waters to see what the United States would do in response to their continued nuclear testing. United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley has been straight forward with them, telling the rogue regime that their continued belligerence will not be tolerated.
On Saturday, the U.N. Security Council, which includes Russia and China, unanimously passed a resolution slapping new economic sanctions on North Korea in retaliation for its repeated ballistic missile testing and continued efforts to develop nuclear weapons.
From The Hill:
The former South Carolina governor said North Korea now has a big decision to make.
“They can either respond by pulling back and saying that they are not going to be a part of this reckless activity anymore or they can see where it goes.”
“And we’ll continue to keep up the strength, and keep up the activity and make sure that we stop them,” Haley added.
Haley was echoing national security adviser H.R. McMaster, who on Saturday said the regime is a very real threat to the world.
“I think it’s impossible to overstate the danger associated with a rogue, brutal regime.”

Welcome to the stone age Kim Jong-un. Enjoy your stay there and just remember what Ambassador Haley told you would happen if you continued to ignore the international community.
Military veteran Wayne Dupree has weighed in the topic, and believes North Korea is making a big mistake by continuing to provoke the United States:
Hopefully, the people of North Korea will try and remove Kim Jong-un from power and start fixing relations with the rest of the world.
