What is The Leading Man About?

Currently in early development, here is a short logline about the film below:

“When a self-absorbed movie star (Cena) discovers that his co-star/man in the chair (Hart) is an actual agent, he’s forced to swallow his pride and accept that action stars aren’t really action heroes…while trying to save the world.”

A Comic Book Adaptation

The Netflix film will be an adaptation of the popular mid-2000s comic book series of the same name by B. Clay Moore and Jeremy Haun. This could hint at future film installments to create a franchise based on the comic books.
