And Angela is at her breaking point—she can’t sleep, she’s stressed out and going crazy, she doesn’t know what’s real, and she thinks she hears the girls calling out to her in the dark. However, when they learn about the actual evil that is hiding in the remote mansion, otherworldly fears become the least of their concerns.

5. A Cure for Wellness (2016)

The board of directors of a sizable financial services company in New York City dispatches an executive by the name of Lockhart to pick up Roland Pembroke, the CEO, who had unexpectedly chosen to remain at a “wellness center” in the Swiss Alps. Pembroke’s approval is required by the board for an impending merger.
The business is under investigation for possible illegal misbehavior, and a few self-serving partners want to hold Pembroke solely responsible. When Lockhart tries to talk with Pembroke at the spa, he is greeted with resistance from both Dr. Heinreich Volmer and the staff. Lockhart departs, gets into a vehicle accident, and is said to awaken at the facility three days later with his leg in a plaster cast. Then the real trouble begins!

Kurt Kunkle is a young man who is completely preoccupied with going viral and becoming a social media celebrity. Kurt is envious of Bobby, the kid he used to babysit, who has grown up to be an internet celebrity who regularly does live broadcasts and attracts a large number of viewers. Kurt gets a job driving for the ridesharing company Spree. He then installs cameras in his car and starts a new livestream called “The Lesson” in which he gives advice to viewers on how to get popular on social media, making for a thrilling start to one of the most underrated horror movies I’ve seen.
To attract attention, Kurt begins picking up passengers and poisoning them with water bottles that he distributes from his car. Despite this, Bobby, who thinks the killings are phony, is the only viewer he attracts. Kurt takes Jessie Adams, a comedian with a sizable social media following, as one of his passengers, making for one of the most underrated horror movies.
3. Let Me In (2010)

Twelve-year-old Owen has no friends and his parents are no longer together. In addition, he leads a depressing life and is teased at school. He meets 12-year-old Abby late one night after she moves in next door. She doesn’t go to school and doesn’t talk much about herself. A detective is looking into a string of killings in which the victims’ blood has been extracted. As lonely individuals, Owen and Abby find solace in one another, and Abby gives him the courage to confront his tormentors. Additionally, Abby has secrets that are directly related to the police inquiry.

Their deaf-mute daughter Max is initially enthralled with her, but their son Daniel is antagonistic toward his new sibling.
Kate eventually starts to believe that Esther is deceptive and possibly even mentally ill. John dismisses his wife’s concerns out of hand. When Kate phones Sister Abigail at the orphanage, the nun tells her that Esther has a complicated and enigmatic past. Kate learns that Esther is not who she seems to be after learning more about her past, a scintillating start to one of the most underrated horror movies.
1. Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (2006)

A universe where the supernatural killers portrayed in well-known slasher flicks actually exist is the setting for this faux-documentary film. Leslie Vernon’s preparations to become another slasher villain are captured on tape by two cameramen and a female journalist named Taylor Gentry.
Leslie got his name from an urban legend about a child who massacred his family and the townspeople, furious, threw him into a river, making for one of the most underrated horror movies. At first, he presents himself as the avenging spirit of the murdered boy, but he soon makes the admission that he is just Leslie Mancuso, an everyday guy who has to rely on physical means instead of magical abilities—a suggestion that the other murderers in his profession followed suit.
