It’s not funny to joke about killing a president. Ever. Full stop.
But someone didn’t give that memo to comedian Eddie Griffin. Last Friday night, Griffin egged on a Dallas audience to assassinate President Trump. “Y’all took out one president, you need to take out another,” he told the audience. If you remember, Dallas is where President John Kennedy was assassinated.
Facebook has removed a video of Griffin’s offensive performance. But more should be done. Griffin threatened to kill a sitting president. His punishment should be more than a slap on the wrist.
Tell Me Now’s Wayne Dupree gets to the heart of the matter: Griffin’s joke was far from funny and downright criminal.
Watch:
Comedians who joke about killing a president aren’t comedians at all. They’re delinquents and idiots. And they deserve more punishment than having Facebook remove a video.
Share if you agree with Wayne Dupree – Griffin should pay!
