Bethany Rodgers brought her son to an appointment at the Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to get hearing aids. They were his first set of hearing aids and would hopefully allow him to hear for the first time in his life.
The video shows little Jay overwhelmed by the sound around him. You can hear his parents talking to him and Jay looking around with awe as he finally knows their voices!
I just smiled from ear to ear watching this little man enjoy the surrounding sounds and reacting to them. As adults, we take so many things for granted but are reminded about the important things in life when we watch videos like this. It’s important for everyone to slow down and make time to appreciate what God has given us.
