Over the weekend, Sabrina Carpenter hosted SNL and delivered a memorable NSFW performance that left fans shocked and obsessed.

The pop star was both the host and the musical guest of the episode, performing Nobody’s Son from her new album “Man’s Best Friend”, and stunned fans when she didn’t censor herself when she sang the lyrics “he sure f-ed me up” on two occasions.

While the expletives played during the live NBC telecast and the live Peacock simulcast, they were censored during the West Coast airing and in versions that were later posted online, including on YouTube.

During her performance for Nobody’s Son, Sabrina Carpenter sang in a martial-arts setting while wearing a white bejeweled karate gi.

But the performance that really shocked viewers was her earlier performance with Manchild, where Sabrina Carpenter performed in a bedroom set while wearing just underwear and a T-shirt. Check out the performance in the video below.

Of course, the pop singer is known for her stunning outfits during performances. And she’s also known for poking fun at herself. And in her opening monologue, Carpenter made fun of her provocative persona, saying, “Now, since I’m here, I want to clear up some misconceptions people have about me.”

“Everyone thinks of me as this, horndog pop star, but there’s really so much more to me. I’m not just horney. I’m also turned on and sexually charged. And I love to read. My favorite book is the encyclopedia. It’s so big and it’s hard…”

After showing off her new album, where the cover features Carpenter on all fours in front of a person in a black suit, a hand on his knee, and a hand grabbing hold of her hair, the pop star talks about some people’s views on its insinuation.

“Some people got a little freaked out by the cover. I’m not sure why. It was just me on all fours with an unseed figure pulling my hair. But what people don’t realize is that’s just how they cropped it. If you zoom out, it’s clearly a picture from the 50th anniversary special of Bowen [Yang] helping me up by the hair.”

The image of her cover is zoomed out, showing the hilarious spin of her cover. “After Martin Short shoved me out of the buffet line,” she adds.

Sabrina Carpenter doesn’t shy away from shocking performances and hilarious bits, but this will be one SNL show that will go down in history as one of the greats. Not only does Carpenter have a memorable sense of humor, but her skills with captivating audiences are unlike any other.
