Only 17 days after Ozzy Osbourne reunited with Black Sabbath at the final gig on July 5, Osbourne died at his home in Buckinghamshire, England, at the age of 76. The news was heart-shattering. And for those who want an inside look into the final years of legendary heavy metal artist, here’s how to watch Ozzy Osbourne’s documentary.

Just two weeks before his final concert in his hometown, he spoke to his beloved wife, Sharon, saying, “After this gig, I’m looking forward to hanging up my microphone and spending some time with you. After this gig, we’re free.”

To which Sharon agrees and tells the camera, “I just want to find a little bubble somewhere and live out our life together.”

While the Osbournes didn’t get to live out their plan after almost seven years of agonizing health issues that Ozzy endured, their love and devotion to one another stood the test of time and is apparent in the newest Ozzy documentary. For those who want a look into their lives, you can watch the documentary on Paramount+ starting October 7, 2025.

Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape from Now is a “deeply personal and unfiltered feature-length documentary chronicling the last six years of Ozzy Osbourne’s life”, according to Ozzy’s official site. The name of the documentary is based on Osbourne’s song on his final album in 2022, “Patient Number 9”.

The documentary was directed by former “Googlebox” showrunner and friend of the family, Tania Alexander, and executive produced by Sharon Osbourne. No Escape From Now provides commentary from Osbourne’s children who share their own realizations about their father’s decline.

The feature-length film also shares interviews with fellow musicians, including Andrew Watt and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, instrumental in coaxing Osbourne out of depression to record his final album.

The film dives into the hardships and struggles that Ozzy dealt with in his final years following a life-altering fall in 2019, which forced the cancellation of his farewell tour. Viewers will watch Ozzy’s grueling recovery process, as well as his many other struggles in his late years, including Parkinson’s disease, along with bouts of pneumonia, sepsis, and the degradation of his vertebrae.

“I used to take pills for fun — now I take them to stay alive,” Ozzy Osbourne reflects in this two-hour documentary.

According to the official website, the documentary was “originally conceived as a living tribute,” but “now stands as a powerful memorial following Ozzy’s passing on July 22, 2025. It documents not only his health battles but also his determination to get back on stage, including his heroic performances at the Commonwealth Games, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame soundcheck, and Villa Park’s Back to the Beginning show in Birmingham.”

You can also pick up Ozzy Osbourne’s book, Last Rites, which is a “candid memoir from the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, written in his own words. Read never-before-told stories of his personal health battles, and his determination to make it to Birmingham to play his final show and say thank you to his fans for giving him an extraordinary life.”

Now that you know how to watch Ozzy Osbourne’s documentary on Paramount+, starting October 7, be sure to tune in to get an inside look into his final years, from his many health struggles to what pushed him to keep going.
