The country music star Wynonna Judd’s daughter Grace Kelley has been arrested for the third time in 2024. This time, for stealing from a church!

Kelley Arrested

People Magazine confirmed that Kelley, 28, was arrested in Albemarle County, Virginia on October 27. Indeed, she is reportedly facing seven charges, including three counts of felony grand larceny. Kelley was also charged with driving without a license, destruction of property with intent, failure to use headlights, and setting in motion a vehicle with intent to commit a crime.

Kelley’s arrest came after she allegedly stole a church van from the home of a pastor in Charlottesville. The Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene confirmed this on a GoFundMe page that has already raised over $3,500 to purchase a new van.

“On October 27th, our green church van and trailer were stolen from in front of our pastor’s home by Grace Pauline Kelley,” Pastor Kent Hart, 31, wrote on the GoFundMe page. “Grace is currently in police custody. The van was damaged during the theft and after being inspected by a body shop, the insurance has determined it to be a total loss.”

Hart also demonstrated his Christianity, forgiving Kelley.

“We want the community to know that on a personal level, we have forgiven Grace Kelley,” Hart added.

Kelley ‘Sold Her Soul To The Devil’

Hart reportedly chased Kelley down when he saw the church van pulling out of his driveway. He followed her to Virginia Route 20, where he attempted to box her in after she drove around his Chevrolet Yukon.

“Even though we have suffered that loss, we’re just really hoping the community helps us out,” Hart said. “I’m not sure what we would get from Grace, as far as you know, replacement, and we’re not really even going that way. We’re just forgiving her, and we’re trusting the Lord to provide for our needs.”

Upon her arrest, Kelley reportedly told police that she “sold her soul to the devil.”

“She began stating she had sold her soul to the devil,” her arresting officer later recalled. “I advised the jail staff that she may have taken something. I was later informed that the jail staff observed something inside of Ms. Kelley during her body scan.”

A police spokesperson told The New York Post that Kelley is still locked at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.

Kelley’s History

Kelley’s first arrest this year came back in April, when she was charged with indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations in Alabama. One week later, Kelley was charged with soliciting prostitution after exposing herself on a busy highway in Alabama.

The prostitution charge was later dropped, however, and her indecent exposure was reduced to public lewdness. Kelley ended up spending 60 days in jail and was released on May 23.

In August, Kelley was arrested for a second time in Georgia and booked in Carroll County Jail on three counts. These charges were fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, driving with a suspended/revoked license, and not using motorcycle equipment properly.

Back in 2017, Kelley pleaded guilty to manufacturing, delivery, sale, and possession of methamphetamine. After leaving a court-ordered drug recovery program and violating her probation, Kelley was sentenced to eight years in jail. However, she was released after just two years and put on parole.

At the time of this writing, Judd has yet to comment on her daughter’s latest arrest.
