Whoopi Goldberg has been left humiliated after fans branded her as a “lunatic” for her latest unhinged rant on The View. Indeed, Goldberg has said quite a few crazy things on the ABC talk show. This, however, is undoubtedly one of her most unhinged remarks yet.
Goldberg’s Latest Unhinged Rant
On Monday’s episode of The View, Goldberg and her co-hosts debated the merits of the war on Iran that President Donald Trump launched at the end of last month. Since they despise absolutely everything that Trump does, it should come as no surprise that all five co-hosts were quick to say that this was a disastrous move.
Goldberg’s reasoning behind this, however, left something to be desired. As she began her typical rant against Trump, it quickly became clear that Goldberg has no actual knowledge about the conflict or military strategy in general.
“Basically, we are sending people in to lose their lives,” said Goldberg, 70. “Because we have seen how fighting goes. We knew we shouldn’t have gone into Afghanistan. We knew that, and they decided to do it anyway. So now we are in the same position where someone who doesn’t seem to care that human beings are being sent to war and people’s sons and daughters. His kids aren’t going.”
“So I don’t want anybody’s son and daughter to go,” she continued. “I don’t want anybody to go because this is not what we should be doing.”

‘Whoopi Is A Lunatic!’
Unfortunately for Goldberg, however, social media users are firing back in a big way. They’re pointing out to Goldberg just how ignorant her comments really are.
“Whoopi what exactly do u think our military does???” one social media user commented. “People sign up for the military fully knowing day 1 they could be called to help defend our country. They don’t get up every day to train & shoot guns for fun.”
“Whoopi is a lunatic!” a second social media user added, with a third urging Goldberg to “stick to acting!”
“Can anybody tell me what qualifications Whoopi Goldberg has to make this prediction about the Invasion of Iran?” a fourth social media user commented. Yet another person wrote, “Was she in a SEAL Team? Did she work in military intelligence? Why should Trump and [U.S. Secretary of War Pete] Hegseth listen to her? Why did anybody report on it?”
Given the fact that Goldberg appears to pride herself on being an expert on all things, that has got to sting!

Goldberg Allegedly On Thin Ice
This comes amidst rumors that Goldberg is on thin ice at ABC. According to these claims, ABC executives have been tiring of her nonsense as of late. The increasingly constant backlash that Goldberg is receiving from fans is seeming only making their frustrations with her worse.
Back in October, an insider claimed that ABC executives are so fed up with Goldberg’s nonsense that they are “looking hard at a refresh — maybe even a total overhaul” of The View’s panel.
“Executives are tired of cleaning up her messes,” the insider alleged. “Patience is running out.”
It continues to be both ridiculous and frustrating that Goldberg has a national platform to spew her nonsense on a daily basis. It remains to be seen how much longer ABC executives will decide that it’s worth keeping an ignorant loose cannon like her around.
