Whoopi Goldberg came unglued on her ABC talk show The View on Tuesday morning, admitting that a segment was “really dumb.”

Goldberg Unravels On The View

Goldberg, 70, couldn’t hide her skepticism as she introduced a segment about a landmark court case in Turkey.

“Hitting like on sexy social media photos may get you in trouble with your significant other and now it can even be used against you in court,” Goldberg explained. “A landmark ruling, a Turkish court decided that liking other women’s social media posts can be used as evidence in divorce proceedings. The case found that a man undermined marital trust by repeatedly liking other women’s photos online. What do you think of this ruling? Is this grounds for divorce?”

“I like this ruling a lot,” her co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in to say. “I think it needs to maybe be reviewed here in the United States.”

Hostin then questioned why a married person should be “liking” other people’s photos on social media. This prompted her co-host Sara Haines to joke, “‘Cause I’m married, not blind!”

‘This Is Really Dumb…’

Goldberg spoke up again to explain the “problem” that she has with this case. She also questioned why they were even talking about it in the first place.

“What happens if you like a Santa sweater and you hit like and it’s being worn by a man? Then I can take you to court too,” Goldberg pointed out.

“This is like a really dumb thing,” she added. “And why we’re discussing it when it doesn’t happen here in the United States, I don’t understand.”

Haines concluded the segment by admitting that she’s “really loose with my fire emoji” on social media. This means that she might be in trouble if a similar ruling was made in the United States.

“I’ve never looked at what [my husband] Max likes,” Haines stated. “He’s never looked at what I liked.”

Goldberg Returns To The View

This comes after Goldberg returned to The View from a two-week hiatus. Indeed, Goldberg came back to the talk show last week only to reveal that she had been gone for a few weeks to film a guest role for an Italian soap opera.

“We should say ‘bienvenuto,’” Goldberg’s co-host Ana Navarro said at the start of Monday[s show, “’cause I think this [expletive] has forgotten to speak English.”

“I don’t know what language I’m thinking in,” Goldberg replied with a laugh. “What time zone I’m in?”

Wasn’t that true BEFORE you left for Italy, Whoopi?!

Getting serious, Goldberg told her co-hosts that her time in Europe “was really good.”

“I learned a lot because I’d never done a soap opera before,” she admitted. “And so doing a soap opera in a different language, in a different country, made for a really interesting time. It was great.”

However, Goldberg made sure to make it clear to her co-hosts that she wasn’t on vacation by sending them plenty of videos from her time on the soap opera’s set.

“I just wanted y’all to know I was actually working,” Goldberg explained.

If Goldberg is really frustrated about the topics that are being discussed on The View, perhaps she should be more vocal against her producers. It continues to be both baffling and infuriating that Goldberg is given this platform to spew her nonsense to the world every day.

Good riddance, Whoopi Goldberg!
