Yesterday, we reported that Vanessa Trump had been diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 48. Now, insiders are opening up about her private agony over this diagnosis.
According to these sources, Vanessa is secretly fuming at her boyfriend, the golf legend Tiger Woods. Though she has tried to be there for him in the wake of his DUI arrest back in March, Vanessa is allegedly frustrated that he has not shown up for her when she needed him most.
Vanessa’s Private Agony
Vanessa revealed on Wednesday that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. This came one week after Tiger, 50, returned to the United States after spending six weeks in a European rehab facility. He went there after being arrested on suspicion of DUI on March 27. Tiger has since plead not guilty to that charge, and his trial is pending.
It seems that Vanessa’s breast cancer diagnosis came while Tiger was in rehab. An insider is claiming that though Vanessa is standing by Tiger, she’s also hurt that he was not there for her when she learned that she has cancer.
“This is why she was so adamant that he get treatment and get himself on the right track,” the source told Daily Mail. “She was facing a health scare and Tiger wasn’t able to really be there for her. So she was like, ‘I’m not going through this and holding your hand for addiction at the same time.’ That was basically the ultimatum she gave.”
“She’s got a huge support system aside from Tiger, but obviously she has enough on her plate to not have to worry about him and his addiction. So he went for treatment,” the insider continued. “She may not be saying she resents that he wasn’t here for all that, but the fact remains that she was getting a cancer diagnosis and he wasn’t there. He wasn’t able to support her like she needed. So she may not be saying that, but I know Vanessa and I guarantee that she’s thinking it. I know that 100 percent.”
Vanessa Will ‘Fight Like Hell’
Vanessa, who shares five children with her ex-husband Donald Trump Jr., has made it clear to those close to her that she plans to fight cancer with everything she has.
“She’s got too much to live for, she’s going to fight like hell,” the source insisted. “She’s made that clear to everyone. Don’t pity her. Don’t treat her like she’s going to break. She’s going to fight and she’s going to beat this.”
Tiger spent 40 days in a rehab facility in Switzerland. Despite his own personal struggles, the golf icon plans to do whatever he can to support Vanessa throughout her cancer battle.
“He’s going to be there for her, every step of the way,” the insider stated. “She stood behind him with his rehab, so now it’s time for him to repay the favor. Anything she needs, she’ll get from him. He’s worried, he’s concerned for her health and safety.”
“I won’t say that he’s devastated or anything, because he’s in the ‘she’s going to beat this’ mode. He’s faced adversity and come out on top, he knows she can do the same,” the source concluded. “This is why he wanted to get his [expletive] in order, so that he could be there for her. He wanted to be clean and sober and healthy so he could be her support. That’s what he’s doing now. Anything she wants, anything she needs. He is there for her.”
