Tim Allen has a foul-mouthed Buzz Lightyear toy.
Rated-R Buzz Lightyear

The 72-year-old actor voices the Space Ranger in Disney Pixar’s Toy Story film franchise. He said the sweary figure is kept under lock and key in his and his 59-year-old wife, actress Jane Hajduk’s, home.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight alongside Tim Allen at June 9’s Toy Story 5 World Premiere at the Dolby Theater, Los Angeles, Jane revealed, “There’s a Buzz who doesn’t speak so nicely. Buzz may say a few bad words. Somebody gave him that Buzz.”
Tim noted he is not the only person to have a rated-R Buzz figure.
He said, “The other one is with an old executive, Michael Eisner [former CEO of The Walt Disney Company] has one, and I made it for him as a joke for his birthday.”
“I love it.”
However, the rude figure will never be seen or heard by the public.
Tim Allen said, “I’ve got it locked up, no one else can hear it, and it’s just really weird.”
Keeping Quiet in Public
Jane has to remind her husband of 20 years to keep quiet when they attend sporting events. This is because his voice is too recognizable as Buzz.
He made the admission during a recent Sirius XM interview with his Toy Story 5 co-stars, 69-year-old Tom Hanks (Woody the Cowboy), 63-year-old Joan Cusack (Jessie the Cowgirl), 63-year-old Conan O’Brien (Smarty Pants), and 43-year-old Greta Lee (Lilypad).
Tim shared, “My wife loves going to football games, and I love it, but I cannot speak in public because of Buzz Lightyear.”
“I’m a very private guy, but if I’m in the stands – she likes sitting in the stands to see her Steelers play, so we gotta go to these games. And she’ll go, ‘Shut up. If you want something to eat, whisper to me. I’ll go get it.'”
Jane and Tim attended a performance of The Wiz in Chicago. However, some audience members recognized his voice from Toy Story but mistakenly thought it was Tom.
Tim Allen recalled, “So we’re sitting there, and there’s a really good play, and I get up and walk away, and three of the ladies behind me go, ‘Tom, we just love you in Toy Story.’
“I went, ‘Oh, no.'”
Toy Story 5 and Beyond

Toy Story 5 sees Jessie, Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the beloved toys under threat. Their second owner, Bonnie (Scarlett Spears), gets engrossed with her frog-like tablet, Lilypad.
In April, 60-year-old director Andrew Stanton, who contributed to the scripts of the previous movies, teased that there could be two more Toy Story films coming after there was enough material to explore new adventures that may go beyond Bonnie.
He told Entertainment Weekly, “That’s why I feel like it can keep going.”
But Andrew, who also directed Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, and WALL-E, will not leave Pixar. He will advise on the studio’s projects until he is “in a rocking chair somewhere. And I will always have a strong opinion about this.”
“This is probably the best way I can leave my stamp at Pixar – teaching others how this is done.”
