On Monday night’s episode of Wheel of Fortune, host Ryan Seacrest found himself in a truly shocking situation. Indeed, he looked visibly stunned when he ended up in a headlock by a contestant!

Seacrest Ends Up In Headlock

Monday’s Wheel of Fortune episode was won by the former wrestler “Big Bill” Page.

They just couldn’t resist – Page put Seacrest in a headlock during the show! Seacrest, 50, could be seen grimacing before desperately “tapping out” as Page continued to pull him towards the ground.

“Putting Ryan in a headlock, wearing a shirt with your grandkids’ faces on it, and solving your way to victory? All in a day’s work at #WheelOfFortune!” the clip was captioned.

Fans made it clear that they loved seeing Seacrest in a headlock.

“This was the best show! Big Bill had fun with Ryan,” one fan commented. Another added. “Fun episode! Ryan is doing a great job!’

“Someone put Ryan in a headlock and I MISSED IT???” a third fan commented. A fourth fan wrote that Page was “such a fun contestant.”

Page Sounds Off

Afterwards, Page explained that the Wheel Of Fortune crew had asked him “what kind of move” he could put on Seacrest when they learned that he had previously been a professional wrestler.

“I said, ‘Well, I guess the easiest one would be a headlock,'” Page explained.

Page went on to talk about his wrestling career, revealing that he started wrestling in high school. From there, he moved into pro wrestling, launching this career at the East Coast Wrestling Association.

“I did all that, off of the top rope, getting slammed, kicked in the head, everything,” Page recalled. “It was fun and they put me in the hall of the fame.”

Seacrest is months into his hosting gig on Wheel Of Fortune. Indeed, he took over back in September after longtime host Pat Sajak, 78, retired in June of last year. Sajak had been hosting the iconic game show for 43 years at the time of his retirement.

Seacrest’s 2025 Goal

Earlier this year, Seacrest opened up about what his Wheel of Fortune goal is for 2025.

“I am always impressed and grateful for what the show has meant to me before I even started working there and what it means to so many people and generations around the country,” Seacrest told Fox News.

“I love giving away the money…I get so excited when people win the money, and they win a lot of money,” he continued. “I’m hoping to give away a million dollars in 2025.”

This comes as Wheel of Fortune is celebrating its fiftieth anniversary.

“I plan to walk out and give away a lot of money to celebrate the 50 years,” Seacrest said while walking the red carpet at the 2024 KIIS FM’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. “Hopefully we give away a million dollars. I want that million dollar wedge to make it to the end so somebody gets to win that.”

Though Seacrest has yet to accomplish his million dollar goal this year, he certainly created a memorable moment this week with Page. Be sure to tune into Wheel of Fortune each night to see what antics Seacrest gets up to next!
