It’s been nearly one year since Rosie O’Donnell fled America and moved to Ireland. She did this in response to Donald Trump’s second presidential victory.
Now, O’Donnell has had yet another meltdown abroad about something that Trump is doing stateside. This time, she’s losing her mind over Trump’s arrest of the Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. In fact, O’Donnell is so upset about this that she can’t sleep.
O’Donnell Comes Unglued Again
O’Donnell, 63, took to TikTok to admit to her followers that she is so panicked over what Trump is doing to “our country” that she’s struggling to sleep. She somehow still thinks she can refer to America as “our country” despite the fact that she has abandoned the U.S. for Ireland, but we digress.
“So, America How you doing. This is a rare time for our country,” O’Donnell asked. She then shifted to her favorite pastime: ranting and raving against Trump.
“A mad man in charge with absolutely no guardrails,” O’Donnell lamented. “People are saying we’re happy we’re from Venezuela, we’re happy. I can understand why you’re happy if you’re Venezuelaian but if you’re an American who believes in the Constitution what he did was illegal and a war crime. You can’t just go removing people from the office of presidency.”
It should be noted that there is no evidence that what Trump did in Venezuela was illegal at all. However, a little thing like that didn’t stop O’Donnell from continuing her latest anti-Trump rant. Indeed, O’Donnell proceeded to push the unfounded conspiracy theory that the Heritage Foundation was behind Maduro’s capture. She also falsely claimed that Trump is mentally and physically unhealthy.
“He’s mentally unstable. Something has to be done. Like and quickly,” O’Donnell rambled. “It’s dangerous. Dangerous for everyone. So sad, you know? So sad what’s happened. And they said it’s gonna happen, Project 2025, the Heritage Foundation. Who would ever choose this for our country? Letting this morally compromised and mentally unhealthy and physically unwell man run the country and ruin it… It’s too depressing, it really is.”

O’Donnell’s Therapist Intervenes
O’Donnell previously admitted that even her own therapist is tired of hearing about how much she obsessively despises Trump. She made this humiliating confession while being interviewed by the MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace on her podcast “The Best People” back in September.
“What he’s done now hasn’t even hit us yet,” whined O’Donnell. “And if he’s not stopped now, we have lost our country. I don’t know, Nicolle, how it is that some people cannot see it. My therapist said, ‘Why are you so upset?’ And I said to her, ‘Why are you not?”

O’Donnell later confessed to The Washington Post that she promised her therapist the Wednesday before Thanksgiving that she wouldn’t post about Trump for two days. Unfortunately for everyone, this promise fell apart within just a few hours.
According to O’Donnell, she “can’t resist” speaking out against Trump. This anti-Trump obsession is what led to O’Donnell moving to Ireland.
Back in June, O’Donnell admitted to the former CNN host Chris Cuomo that she fled America because of Trump’s second presidential victory. She even described this move as being one of “self-preservation,” since she greatly struggled during Trump’s first presidency.
“During his first go-round, it was very difficult, and I got myself into some bad places,” said O’Donnell. “You know, I was very, very depressed. I was overeating, I was overdrinking. I was so depressed, Chris.”
Trump Fires Back
As for Trump himself, he’s made it clear that he doesn’t give a hoot what O’Donnell thinks about him.
“Rosie O’Donnell clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, and it’s better for the entire country that she decided to move away,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson previously told Fox News.
While there are many celebrities who suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, O’Donnell might just have the worst case of all of them. It’s sad that even though she’s now living across the world, O’Donnell still just can’t get Trump out of her head.
Good riddance, Rosie O’Donnell!
