Last month, we reported that CBS had fired Stephen Colbert and canceled The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Days later, we reported that Howard Stern’s eponymous SiriusXM radio show is “to be canceled.”
Now, the comedian Roseanne Barr is speaking out to humiliate both Colbert and Stern. Indeed, she’s hitting these two liberal late night hosts right where it hurts!
Barr Trolls Colbert And Stern
On Tuesday night, Barr took to social media to post an image of Colbert and Stern in bikinis on a beach. She offered no commentary on the image, which appeared to be AI-generated. Instead, Barr opted to let it speak for itself.
Check it out for yourself below.
Colbert’s Late Night Show Canceled
Both Colbert and Stern are looking at having quite a lot of free time to spend on the beach.
Colbert was shocked last month when CBS canceled his show. Indeed, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will be ending in May of 2026 after the conclusion of its next season.
“This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night,” CBS executives stressed. “It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”
Despite the network making it clear that the show was canceled for “financial” reasons, Colbert still attempted to claim that politics were at play here. CBS is notoriously left-leaning. Yet Colbert still alleged that his show was canceled because of how critical he’s been of President Donald Trump.
‘Colbert Gets No Advertising’
Unfortunately for Colbert, this immediately blew up in his face when it was subsequently revealed that his show is costing CBS $40-50 million a year to make.
“Colbert gets no advertising and late night is a tough spot,” one source with direct knowledge of CBS’s decision told The New York Post. “Colbert might be No. 1, but who watches late night TV anymore?”
The insider went on to say that CBS is a “melting ice cube” with its losses and cost overruns. That’s why executives are launching a plan to enhance CBS Sports. They also are eager to invest in in “truth-based” news at a network that conservatives have long claimed has a strong liberal bias.
It should be noted that according to a new report from The New York Post, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert has hosted 176 Democrat guests since 2022. During that same time, the late night show has only hosted one Republican guest. This only confirms the extreme liberal bias that has forever alienated half the show’s audience.
Stern’s Show ‘Is To Be Canceled’
Earlier this month, Stern was “blindsided” when it was reported that his SiriusXM show “is to be canceled.” Like Colbert, Stern has also alienated a huge chunk of his audience with his increasingly radical liberal politics.
For decades, The Howard Stern Show was an apolitical program that everyone could enjoy regardless of their political views. That all changed when Trump first took office. In the years then, Stern has taken to using his show to preach to listeners about his staunch liberal views. This has resulted in Stern’s viewership plummeting from 20 million a day to a measly 125,000.
“I don’t know if its wokeness that alienated some of his audience, or if he just got tamer with age. Whatever it is, it’s apparent no one wants to hear it anymore,” a Stern staffer told The New York Post.
Barr’s Cancelation
As for Barr, she knows a thing or two about being canceled herself. Back in 2018, ABC canceled the reboot of her eponymous sitcom Roseanne. This came after Barr posted a tweet about Barack Obama’s former advisor Valerie Jarrett that many felt was racist in nature.
ABC then brought back Roseanne as the new show The Conners with all the cast members from the reboot except for Barr. That show ran until the spring of 2025.
It should be noted that all of this occurred after Barr was an unapologetically open supporter of Trump during his first presidential run.
After Barr was brutally canceled for her rightwing political views, it’s no wonder that she’s getting a kick out of seeing what just happened to two shameless liberals like Colbert and Stern. In the end, it’s safe to say that Colbert and Stern have learned the hard way that the phrase “go woke, go broke” is very real indeed.
Good riddance!
