Robert Pattinson is hitting back after years of jokes about his physique in The Batman.
Strict Workout Schedule

The 40-year-old actor says he pushed himself into an extreme training schedule for the upcoming sequel, revealing he even installed a home gym to bulk up after some fans claimed he looked like he’d skipped workouts entirely.
Pattinson told GQ he was stunned by the reaction to his 2022 performance, especially the online chatter insisting he hadn’t trained.
He said, “Everyone was like, ‘You didn’t work out at all.’
“I worked out every f****** day. Even after that, I still look like I didn’t work out.”
He added that he was hitting the weights twice a day, sometimes at three in the morning. He joked that the whole thing spiraled because he once tried to sound cool in an interview by downplaying exercise.
The Batman: Part II
Now he’s gearing up to return as Bruce Wayne in The Batman: Part II, directed once again by Matt Reeves and set to feature Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson.
Production appears to be close, with Reeves recently teasing the sequel by posting a snowy first‑look shot of the Batmobile. Pattinson, however, says he’s still waiting on the official schedule.
He said, “I just heard from the stunt guy the other day. He said, ‘Ooh, 11 weeks of nights.’ I’m like, ‘Excuse me?’ No one’s even sent me a schedule.”
Pattinson in The Odyssey

If the new training regime feels intense, it may still be easier than what Pattinson endured filming Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic The Odyssey.
The actor described the shoot – which took place partly at a fortress 900 feet above sea level in Sicily – as one of the most physically draining experiences of his career.
Cast and crew had to climb the steep path daily unless they were transported by helicopter, and Pattinson remembers watching colleagues stumble into the hotel bar after work looking “broken.”
He said, “They’d already been to two countries by that point. People just looked exhausted.”
