The country music star Reba McEntire, 69, is speaking out to gush over her actor boyfriend Rex Linn. I
ndeed, after two failed marriages, McEntire says that she has finally found the love of her life!
McEntire Gushes Over Linn
McEntire has been dating Linn for nearly five years, and their relationship could not be going any better.
“I think we have made each other better. Rex brings out the little girl in me and I have fun,” McEntire told US Weekly. “I’m dorky, I’m goofy. He is too. We love to laugh, and we love each other. We both love watching television. We’re always on the lookout for a new series or movie to watch. He says that it’s his homework, watching other actors and learning from them. I do it for pure enjoyment. Right now we’re streaming The Penguin.”
“I have his back, and he has mine,” she added. “That’s very important. I feel very safe with Rex.”
McEntire went on to say that her relationship with Linn has changed her life in many ways.
“I think it’s a newfound strength,” she explained. “Once you’re confident in your love life, your at-home life, then you can go out and conquer the world.”
Lucky lady, that Reba!
McEntire’s Marriage History
This comes after McEntire’s first two marriages ended in divorce. She was previously married to the cattle rancher Charlie Battles from 1976 until 1987. McEntire was then married to the producer and manager Narvel Blackstock from 1989 until they divorced in 2015.
Despite her love for Linn, McEntire is in no rush to walk down the aisle again after those two divorces.
“It really makes no difference to me,” she admitted. “I’m fine with the way we are. If Rex ever wants to get married, then we’ll talk about it, but I’m fine. I love our relationship 100 percent.”

McEntire and Linn are currently working together on her new sitcom Happy’s Place.
“Rex and I are best friends. We have the same likes and dislikes,” she said. “We’re foodies. We love to cook. We each wanted to be a cowboy and a cowgirl. Then we got into the entertainment business instead. Our dynamic works on and off-screen.”
“We love to act. We want to be prepared,” she continued. “So, he and I rehearse a lot. We did a Lifetime movie together. We did Big Sky on ABC. We’ve both been on Young Sheldon, and now we’re doing Happy’s Place together, so we get real serious about rehearsals and we know our dialogue for sure. To have fun and be comfortable with dialogue, you’ve got to know it. We work hard on that.”
McEntire’s Christian Faith
Aside from Linn, McEntire credits her happiness in life to her strong Christian faith.
“I certainly wouldn’t be where I am right now without my faith,” she stated. “God is my rock, my everything. I wake up in the morning talking to him and I go to sleep at night talking to him.”
“He’s my guidance, my angel, my Holy Spirit, my mother Mary,” she concluded. “I’ve got the whole team there on my side.”
God bless McEntire for continuing to show her fans that it’s never too late to find love. We wish her and Linn many years of happiness to come!
