Pamela Anderson has finally broken her silence to address her past romance with her fellow Hollywood star Liam Neeson.

Anderson Talks Neeson Romance

Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, starred together in the summer box office hit The Naked Gun. In a new interview, Anderson is reminiscing about the romance that the two of them reportedly had as they made this movie.

“If you must know, Liam and I were romantically involved for a short while but only after we finished filming,” Anderson told People Magazine.

Anderson went on to say that she and Neeson spent an “intimate week” together at his home in upstate New York.

“I had my own room,” she recounted. “Our assistants both came; even family stopped by.”

Anderson went on to say that she and Neeson “went to dinner at a tiny French restaurant where he introduced me as the ‘future Mrs. Neeson.'” They also spent time in his garden.

“I tended to a rosebush overgrown with mint,” she recalled. “I was happy to help, and he appreciated.”

After their “romantic lost week,” Anderson admitted that they “went our separate ways to work on other films.”

Anderson and Neeson then reconnected over the summer while promoting The Naked Gun. Indeed, the chemistry that the two shared was electric.

“We were having fun,” she explained, adding that it was “a little bit like a Nancy Meyers film.”

“I always was laughing when people thought, ‘Oh, that’s a publicity stunt.’ I’m like, ‘A publicity stunt? This is real. We have real feelings,'” she continued. “I adore Liam, but we are better friends, in full honesty.”

Anderson hasn’t seen Neeson since August, when he surprised her at the prestigious Williamstown Theater Festival. There, she was performing in Tennessee William’s Camino Real.

“He is such a supporter of this new trajectory in my career and kindly tells me he is very proud of me,” she gushed. “I’m sure we will always be in each other’s lives.”

Anderson’s Previous Comments

Back in September, Anderson spoke out to deny rumors that her romance with Neeson was fake. She made this denial while speaking at the 51st Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France.

“I do not and will never feed into PR stunts,” Anderson said onstage. “That would be a death sentence. I’m authentically driven. I’m superstitious when it comes to love. And I’m not comfortable sharing any shred of my romantic life.”

“I know I’ll fall in love again and again on screen. That is my job,” she continued. “If we do it well, you will feel it, a kind of projection. It is the greatest compliment. So please think positive. And I appreciate your good wishes. There are no silly games being played. I’m sincere.”

“Do not mistake my kindness for weakness or my boldness for bitterness,” Anderson concluded. “I’m here on this journey, not for money or for fame, but to see what I’m made of in truth, hard work and to leave behind an honest legacy my family can be proud of.”

Clearly, Anderson and Neeson are still sticking to their guns when it comes to this romance being real. Now that they’ve gone their separate ways, we wish them both the best of luck in finding love again in the future!
