A Missouri woman has been arrested after being accused of masterminding a disturbing multi-million dollar plot targeting the heirs of the late King, Elvis Presley.

Missouri Woman Arrested In Graceland Plot

Lisa Jeanine Findley, 53, has been charged with mail fraud and aggravated identity theft. Authorities say that she is the person who was behind the plot that put Elvis’ Graceland estate up for foreclosure back in May.

She was arrested on Friday, which happens to be the 47th anniversary of Elvis’ death.

It took “at least 15 cops” to apprehend Lisa at her home in Kimberling City. If convicted, she faces a maximum of 20 years in prison for the mail fraud charge. She also faces a mandatory minimum of two years for the aggravated identity theft charge.

The perp reportedly has a long history of scamming and fraudulent conduct. She managed to tie herself to Graceland through false identities, post office boxes, and phone numbers.

“The defendant orchestrated a scheme to conduct a fraudulent sale of Graceland, falsely claiming that Elvis Presley’s daughter had pledged the historic landmark as collateral for a loan that she failed to repay before her death,” said Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Nicole Argentieri, who is the head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.

Graceland Foreclosure Scam

Court documents state that Lisa posed as three different people connected with a fake private lender named Naussany Investments & Private Lending LLC, or Naussany Investments. She allegedly then falsely claimed that the late Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis’ only child, signed a deed of trust in 2018 that secured a $3.8 million loan from Naussany Investments and used Graceland as collateral.

The fraudulent company then claimed that the loan was never repaid before Lisa Marie died in January of 2023. It sought $2.8 million from the family to settle the claim.

Riley Keough, who is the only surviving child of Lisa Marie, fired back by filing a 60-page lawsuit against Naussany Investments on May 15. In it, she claimed that her mother never borrowed any money from the company.

A Tennessee judge quickly ruled in Riley’s favor, saying that Naussany Investments had indeed forged the signature. The person behind the plot then claimed to be a Nigerian scammer.

“I didn’t win this one. I’ve stole (sic) many identities and received monies, we don’t win all,” the person wrote at the time, according to CNN.

In reality, however, it appears that this person was Lisa all along.

DOJ Reveals Lisa’s Former Aliases

The Department of Justice said in a statement that Lisa has used many aliases over the years. These aliases include Lisa Holden, Lisa Howell, Gregory Naussany, Kurt Naussany, Lisa Jeanine Sullins, and Carolyn Williams.

Rasheed Jeremy Carballo is a former acquaintance of Lisa’s who testified against her before a grand jury about her latest scam. He told NBC News back in June that she had previously told him about a deal involving Lisa Marie Presley’s house that would make millions.

Graceland meant everything to Elvis, and since his death, it has become a mecca for millions of his fans to visit every year. Trying to scam his family out of this estate is just about as low as it gets when it comes to a fraud scheme.

If Lisa Jeanine Findley truly is behind this, here’s hoping she’s prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
