A private jet owned by the Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil was tragically involved in a fatal crash on Monday. At least one person was killed and three more were injured, including Neal’s longtime girlfriend. Neil, however, was not even on the plane at the time.

Neal’s Jet Involved In Crash

Chilling video footage shows Neil’s jet landing and then speeding out of control down the runway at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona. It can then be seen veering offtrack before crashing into an unoccupied Gulfstream 200.

Neil’s’ longtime girlfriend Rain Andreani was on the jet with a female friend named Ashley and multiple dogs. They had just flown in from Austin, Texas.

One of the pilots was killed, while Andreani was seriously injured. Sources told TMZ that Andreani suffered five broken ribs. Her friend and the other pilot were injured as well, but the extent of their injuries is not known at this time. The dogs that were with the women are known to have survived the crash.

At the time of this writing, the name of the deceased pilot has not been released.

Officials Speak Out

Scottsdale Fire Capt. Dave Folio said that one person was trapped in the jet after the crash. Thankfully, rescuers were able to free this person, who was rushed to a trauma center in critical condition.

“Our thoughts and prayers are going out to everybody in the aviation community that this affects today,” said Kelli Kuester, Aviation outreach and planning coordinator for the Scottsdale Airport.

Scottsdale Mayor Lisa Borowsky addressed the crash in a statement given to Fox 10 Phoenix.

Today, Scottsdale sadly experienced an aircraft accident at our airport. Based on the information provided thus far, it appears at least one person is dead after two jets collided on the runway at Scottsdale Airport,” Borowsky said. “We are closely monitoring the situation, and we are in touch with airport, police and federal agencies and will update the community as we have further information.”

“On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, we offer our deepest condolences to those involved in the accident and for those who have been taken to our trauma center for treatment,” she continued. “We will keep all affected by this tragedy in our prayers. I would also like to thank our first responder community for their quick action and service in this situation.”

Scottsdale Airport Reopens

The Scottsdale Airport was able to reopen at 10:38pm on Monday night. However, Scottsdale Fire Capt. Folio said that the runway where the crash occurred will remain closed for the “foreseeable future.”

“On behalf of the city of Scottsdale, the fire department, the police department, Glendale, and everybody else that’s out here working this, where we’ve got our automatic eight partners out here currently working the scene,” he concluded. “And we’re doing everything we can to extricate and save the one soul that’s still on board.”

This comes after weeks of multiple airplane crashes and aviation. Needless to say, this has put travelers on edge.

Please join us in saying a prayer for everyone impacted by this latest plane crash.
