Over the past few years, there has been an incredibly high turnover rate among the staffers of Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry. Indeed, many of the people who work for Meghan seem to quit after just a few months on the job. This has added fuel to the rampant rumors that Meghan is extremely difficult to work with.

Now, Meghan has been left humiliated as yet another top staffer has quit. Experts have since spoken out to warn that the mass exodus among Meghan’s team is only creating “chaotic” optics for the Hollywood brand that she was hoping to create.

Yet Another Staffer Quits

Emily Robinson, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s director of communications, has officially quit her job. This came just four months after she took over the role. Prior to taking that job at the end of May, Robinson reportedly worked for Netflix. A source said that Robinson “left of her own accord.”

“Ms. Robinson oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of With Love, Meghan and additional support for the production company,” a spokesperson for Meghan and Harry told People Magazine. “She did an excellent job and completed these projects with great success.”

Unfortunately for Meghan and Harry, however, experts are saying that the optics of yet another top staffer quitting after such a short time working for them does not look good optically.

“This most recent departure simply adds to the ongoing instability and brand confusion within the couple’s discombobulated operations,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News.

“It’s a clear indication that Meghan Markle’s ambition to reshape her public image with a polished team is failing,” she continued. “The optics are ghastly as it really enforces the negative image of chaotic brand control, at best, as well as Meghan’s dwindling influence.”

Fordwich went on to point out that it’s incredibly uncommon for a communications director to leave such a high-profile position after less than a year.

“Communications directors simply don’t leave such a high-profile, global PR role after merely a few months,” she explained. “Such departures are rare and imply either chronic personal incompatibility or some sort of strategic disagreement regarding strategy or image development.”

Mass Exodus In Sussex Team

Robinson is far from the only staffer to quit working for the Sussexes. Back in June, four members of their team quit. These ex-staffers included their Los Angeles-based deputy press secretary, Kyle Boulia, and their U.K. press officer, Charlie Gipson. Both had only been working for the couple since last year.

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, around 20 staffers have quit working for Meghan and Harry in the five years since they stepped down as senior royals.

“There is growing evidence to support the rumors that Meghan Markle struggles to follow the direction of her advisors,” claimed royal expert Kinsey Schofield of YouTube’s “Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered.”

“Former staff tell me that she appears receptive to advice, acts as if she will execute it in the way that it has been presented, and then does the complete opposite,” Schofield added. “Meghan blames the media and public for misinterpreting or misunderstanding her. It’s an exhausting cycle, and for many who have worked with her, ultimately an unsustainable one.”

PR Expert Weighs In

PR expert Doug Eldridge weighed in as well.

“The real problem here is the optics,” he stated. “Even if it was the logical completion of a short-term, narrowly described engagement, it comes on the heels of numerous resignations in recent months, all of which give the impression that this is a less-than-desirable work environment. Again, that might not be the reality, but it certainly creates the perception.”

“It’s Halloween season, and we all remember that one spooky house that kids didn’t want to walk past — much less stop —whether trick-or-treating or any other day of the year,” Eldridge concluded. “If this string of mass departures continues, Meghan runs the risk of becoming the equivalent of that scary house: qualified professionals simply won’t stop there anymore.”

With every year that goes by, it becomes increasingly clear to many that the royals were right to be wary of Meghan. While it’s unknown exactly why so many of her staffers quit, it can’t be denied at this point that there’s a strong indication that Meghan is simply a nightmare to work for.

In the end, it’ll be interesting to see if Harry decides to quit on Meghan someday as well!
