Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, reportedly has no “sympathy” for his older brother Prince William when it comes to the royal scandal involving his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew.
Meghan Allegedly Feels Vindicated
Insiders are claiming that Meghan, 44, is happy that the spotlight on her and Harry, 41, is being eased in the wake of the downfall of Andrew, 66. Indeed, Andrew has fallen out of favor due to his past ties to the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The entire scandal has become a nightmare for William, 43, to deal with. Despite this, Meghan allegedly doesn’t feel bad for him.
“Meghan insists that this gives her no pleasure. She says the whole situation absolutely sickens her,” one source told Star Magazine. “That being said, she and Harry have long felt the royals have used them as scapegoats to distract from much more damaging issues like Andrew and his ties to [Jeffrey] Epstein.”
“It was always hard for [Meghan and Harry] to understand how that could just be swept under the rug and ignored while they were being crucified over so much less,” the insider continued. “So, to have Andrew finally facing some consequences has got to feel vindicating for them.”
William Gets Confronted
This comes one month after William and his wife Kate Middleton, 44, were confronted by a heckler outside of a pub in Stirling, Scotland.
“Have you been covering up for Andrew?” the heckler asked them on January 20.
During a visit to Saudi Arabia earlier this week, William was asked about Andrew by a reporter.
“Sir, to what extent do you think the royal family has done enough around the Andrew and Epstein issue?” the reporter questioned.
William declined to give a response.
It seems that Meghan has been getting quite a kick out of all of this.
“The fact that this mess has landed on William’s doorstep won’t earn him any sympathy from Meghan,” the source added. “In her view, he chose the side of the institution that let this go on for years. So now he’s going to pay the price for that decision.”
“No doubt he’ll be cleaning up this mess for years to come. And Meghan and Harry are both thrilled to be ten thousand miles away from all of it,” the insider concluded.
Meghan And William’s Estrangement
There has long been no love lost between Meghan and William. It’s been six years since Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan was born and raised.
William has reportedly been estranged from the couple ever since, as they have repeatedly bashed the royal family. Royal experts have claimed that Harry places much of the blame for the estrangement on Meghan.
“Prince William blames Meghan Markle for escalating their private tensions into a highly public media circus,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News last month. “He has no tolerance for reconciliation.”
Given Meghan’s alleged lack of “sympathy” for William, it seems unlikely that they’ll be making peace anytime soon. Only time will tell if the royals will ever be able to bury the hatchet and come together again, but it’s certainly not looking good for them!
