The former Family Ties star Justine Bateman is calling out Meghan Markle and Prince Harry for what she has describes as their “very aggressive victim Olympics campaign.”

Justine Rips Into Meghan And Harry

In a blog post titled “The Problem With Meghan Markle: It’s Not What She’s Doing, It’s the Victim Olympics Road She Took to Get There,” Justine didn’t mince words as she torched Meghan’s new Netflix show With Love, Meghan. She went so far as to say that the program has struggled to get viewers because people simply don’t want to “watch someone playact at something they didn’t earn.”

Just anecdotally, I can say that’s not the first time I’ve heard that sentiment.

“The problem with Meghan Markle (and her husband, Harry) is that every opportunity they have explored or exploited over the past few years has been due to their very aggressive Victim Olympics campaign,” wrote Justine, 59.

“The difference between doing that two years ago and doing it now is immense. It’s 2025, and no one wants to see victims anymore,” she continued. “No one wants to watch someone playact at something they didn’t earn.”

Justine went on to clarify that she does not think that “anyone wishes [Meghan] ill.” She also admitted that Meghan, 43, has the right to release a Netflix show or “start a podcast or two.” However, she added that people also have the right to not “go along with another’s ‘narrative’ anymore.”

Justine’s Previous Attack On Meghan And Harry

This isn’t the first time that Justine has spoken out against Meghan and Harry, 40. Two months ago, Justine branded the couple as “ambulance chasers” and “disaster tourists” after they were photographed visiting an evacuation center for victims of the California wildfires.

“Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers,” Justine wrote on her blog at the time. “What a repulsive ‘photo op’ they achieved.”

“They are ‘touring the damage’?” she questioned alongside news footage of Meghan and Harry surveying the areas damaged by the wildfires. “Are they politicians now? They don’t live here; they are tourists. Disaster Tourists.”

With Love, Meghan Flops On Netflix

This comes after With Love, Meghan was slammed by critics and fans alike. Indeed, Variety blasted With Love, Meghan as being a “Montecito ego trip not worth taking” in a review that held nothing back.

“The show plays out like a forced march, one in which Meghan’s guests must, as the price of getting to share an afternoon in a made-for-TV kitchen with her, praise her first,” Variety stated. “With Love, Meghan is made with a great deal of love – in the sense that the greatest love of all is the one that a person has for herself.”

Fans were quick to agree.

“This isn’t even a fun hate watch. It’s just bad,” one viewer wrote. Another added that watching With Love, Meghan was the ‘worst few minutes of my life.”

Meghan and Harry shocked the world when they stepped down as senior royals back in 2020. They then moved across the world to Southern California, where Meghan was born and raised.

In the years since then, they’ve been trying to make it in Hollywood while bashing the royal family seemingly every chance they get. In the end, many will certainly agree with Justine’s assessment of this couple. Unfortunately for Meghan and Harry, it’s not looking good for them in the court of public opinion these days!
