It’s been five years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals. During that time, they have attempted to present a united front in public.

That’s why it’s come as a massive surprise that insiders are now speaking out to claim that there’s some trouble in paradise in their marriage. Indeed, according to these sources, Meghan is reportedly livid with Harry after he made what she sees as an “unforgivable” blunder.

Meghan Unleashes Her Fury On Harry

An insider told Radar Online! that Meghan, 44, “hit the roof” when Harry, 41, forgot to mention her Netflix cooking show With Love, Meghan during an appearance in London earlier this month. This mistake allegedly enraged Meghan, who went so far as to accuse Harry of “undermining” her work.

Harry made a rare four-day trip to the United Kingdom two weeks ago. There, he attended the WellChild Awards in London. During his time at this event, Harry was asked by 13-year-old Grace Tutt what he would recommend on Netflix.

Instead of recommending his wife’s show, however, Harry claimed that the political thriller Hostage and the dating show Love Is Blind are two programs that he and Meghan enjoy watching. This reportedly didn’t sit well with Meghan, who believes that Harry should have taken this opportunity to promote With Love, Meghan.

“The omission did not go down well at home,” claimed one source. “Meghan feels With Love, Meghan is one of the most important projects she has done since leaving royal life, and she expected Harry to highlight it. Instead, he rattled off other shows and left hers off the list. She saw it as a huge snub.”

Meghan Goes Off

According to this insider, Meghan’s rage at Harry for this omission was immediate.

“She told him straight that forgetting to mention her show was unforgivable,” alleged another source. “From her point of view, every time Harry talks about Netflix, he should be pushing their joint projects or her work. She accused him of being careless and said it made her look irrelevant.”

A third friend of the couple’s confirmed that Harry’s mistake has led to some serious problems at home.

“Meghan wants the world to see her as a serious creator,” this friend explained. “To her, leaving out With Love, Meghan felt like Harry was dismissing months of work. She told him he has one job when it comes to Netflix – to promote what they’re doing.”

“It wasn’t just about the show,” added a Hollywood insider. “Meghan saw it as Harry failing to back her in public. She reminded him in no uncertain terms that they have to present a united front if their brand is going to thrive. She expects him to champion her projects as strongly as his own causes.”

Meghan’s Netflix Stress

This comes at a stressful time for Meghan when it comes to her and Harry’s future at Netflix. Last month, season two of With Love, Meghan premiered on Netflix.

Unfortunately for Meghan, the series was widely panned by fans and critics alike. Netflix has since announced that it will not be renewing Meghan and Harry’s five year, $100 million contract that they signed in 2020. Instead, Netflix has given them a “multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects.” This “downgrade” is the same one that Netflix gave to Barack and Michelle Obama.

“In practice, it is a downgrade from the 2020 overall deal that birthed Harry & MeghanPolo and With Love, Meghan, among other projects,” The Hollywood Reporter reported.

“The overall-to-first-look extension mirrors the move Netflix made recently with the Obamas — as well as others — for their Higher Ground banner,” the publication continued. “In both cases, the exclusivity carried by their respective, splashy original deals has been removed.”

‘Netflix Is Trimming Fat…’

Meghan and Harry’s downgrade came after multiple projects of their’s flopped for Netflix. One of these projects was season one of With Love Meghan, which didn’t even crack the top 300 most viewed Netflix shows for the first half of 2025. Instead, it came in at a humiliating 383. Making matters even worse, their docuseries Polo, which was Harry’s passion project, currently ranks 3,436 out of around 7,000 shows on Netflix.

“They have shot the golden goose of 2020 – more of a ‘we’ll call you’ than ‘here’s the checkbook,'” leading publicist Mark Borkowski told Daily Mail. “It’s a first-look deal, which means Netflix gets first dibs but no obligation to bankroll every semi-royal whim.”

“I reckon Netflix is trimming fat industry-wide, so this is less carte blanche, more curated cameo,” he added. “They’re still in business together. Meghan’s As ever brand and seasonal specials keep them in the Netflix shop window but make no mistake, this is a slimmed-down sequel to the blockbuster original. So Harry and Meghan’s new Netflix chapter is less champagne budget, more Prosecco by the glass.”

Given this track record with Netflix, it’s no wonder that Meghan is more desperate than ever for Harry to promote her projects. Only time will tell if Meghan and Harry will be able to bounce back from this, both with Netflix and in their marriage!
