It’s been six years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals. They then moved across the world to southern California, where Meghan was born and raised.
Now, insiders are claiming that Meghan and Harry are jealous of Prince William. The reason behind this is allegedly the $30 million salary that William is raking in.
Meghan And Harry’s Alleged Jealousy
“Anytime Meghan and Harry get a big payday, they get absolutely hammered from every direction and branded greedy,” an insider claimed. “Yet, William can pull in $30 million and no one bats an eye or questions why he’s getting paid so much money.”
“That’s just what William gets from the Duchy of Cornwall,” the source continued. This was a reference to the estate that William inherited from King Charles in 2022. “He’s taking more than that [and still] you never hear anyone complaining about him being money-hungry the way they do Meghan and Harry.”
As far as Meghan and Harry are concerned, this is a “massive double standard.”
“The rules are completely different depending on which side of the family you’re on,” the insider added.
This comes after the royal family’s annual earnings report raised questions about what Harry and Meghan’s financial situation might’ve looked like had they stayed on as working members of the monarchy.
“That’s a hard pill to swallow. Especially right now when cash flow is such an issue for them,” the source lamented. The insider then added that William’s income has “triggered some very real jealousy” from Meghan and Harry. “They genuinely believe they work just as hard, if not harder, for causes they care deeply about. Yet the financial rewards don’t even come close.”
The source concluded by saying that while Meghan and Harry would never admit this publicly.
“But privately, it’s galling to watch William cash in while they’re scrambling,” the insider stated.
William Wants Meghan And Harry To Be ‘Erased’
As for William, he reportedly has no love for his brother and sister-in-law. In fact, we reported back in November that he wants them to be “erased” from the monarchy when he eventually becomes king.
“Harry is seriously worried that when his father dies, William will literally banish him and he will have no status in Britain at all,” royal author Tom Bower told Radar Online two months ago. “He will be persona non grata.”
Insiders allege that Harry has been worried ever since his disgraced uncle Prince Andrew, 65, announced that he was giving up his Duke of York title. Charles was allegedly forced to “encourage” the move. This came after emails revealed that Andrew had maintained a friendship the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein long after swearing that he’d cut off contact with him.
Andrew technically remains a “prince” because English law protects the title. However, royal sources claim that William plans to abolish this as soon as he becomes king. He allegedly has similar plans for Harry and Meghan after they spent years publicly bashing the royal family.
“Prince William has no tolerance for scandals that tarnish the monarchy,” explained royal expert Hilary Fordwich.
A palace courtier chimed in to add, “William will ensure that Andrew’s royal status and holdings will be eradicated as one of his first acts as king – with Harry and Meghan right behind them on his hit list! He wants them erased from the royal family and the privileges that come with it.”
The latest reports about Meghan and Harry being jealous of William will certainly do nothing to endear them to him. Only time will tell what he has in store for them when he becomes king!
