The controversial comedian Kathy Griffin is speaking out to admit that she “wanted to kill” her oldest brother, who she claims was a pedophile.
Griffin Claims To Have Pedophile Brother
Last month, Griffin took to her YouTube channel to post a video in which she reacted to the brutal murder of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele. They were tragically murdered by their son Nick, who slit both of their throats on December 14.
Nick, 32, had battled mental health issues and addiction for many years. Griffin said in her video that she can relate to his surviving two siblings, as she claims that her late eldest brother Kenneth was a pedophile.
“I’m going to open up to you about something now that I haven’t really talked about since my first book [Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin], and when I talked about it, the rest of my family was very, very upset with me,” Griffin began.
Griffin went on to explain that she is the youngest of five children. Her parents, John and Maggie, and three of her siblings, including Kenneth, are now deceased.
“Well, my eldest brother, Kenneth, who is now dead, thank God,” she continued. “He was a crack addict. He lived on the streets, was extremely violent.”
Griffin claimed that Kenneth “probably had an undiagnosed mental illness that obviously did not go well with crack cocaine.”
“I can just tell you it was heartbreaking watching my parents, John and Maggie, try to save him his whole life,” she added.
Griffin Always Saw Through Kenneth
According to Griffin, Kenneth’s problems began “in his teen years.” This broke the heart of her mother, who would cry and wonder where his issues stemmed from. Griffin, however, knew that he was trouble from the beginning.
“I will tell you that I remember from the age of 10, his first wife telling me and me alone, that he beat her so badly that it was almost inconceivable,” she recalled.
Griffin also claimed that Kenneth would push his wife “naked” into the cold Chicago weather after he was done beating her.
This all reportedly led to years of separation between Griffin and her family.
“I had two other brothers. They’re awesome,” she stressed. “One is deceased. One, my brother John and I are very close. He’s the only sibling I have left. This is — I’m not talking about my brother John or my brother Gary. I’m talking about my eldest brother Kenneth.”
Griffin claimed to have learned that “he was molesting one boy and one girl that she knew of. So for all the ways that the Trumpers used the word ‘pedo’ and all the stuff that we have learned about Jeffrey Epstein — Let me tell you something, having your oldest brother be a pedophile is something that you don’t ever grow out of.”
“You don’t get over it. I wanted to kill him because all I could think about were those children,” she concluded. “And the expression ‘blood is thicker than water,’ was not true in my case. I didn’t give a [expletive] that he was my older brother. And I did not want to protect him.”

‘Life Happens…’
Griffin also posted a portion of her video to Instagram.
“I ended up discussing some things on my YouTube show this week that I did not think I would ever discuss. What can I tell you? Life happens,” she wrote in the caption.
“I’m extremely grateful and relieved at the positive response the episode is receiving,” she added.
Griffin has long been seen as a controversial figure herself, given her radically liberal political views. Only time will if telling this alleged family story pays off for her.
