It’s been one week since the man formerly known as Prince Andrew was stripped of his royal titles by his older brother King Charles. Andrew lost his titles, including his prince moniker, due to his past associations with the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Moving forward, Andrew will be known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Now, royal experts are speaking out to reveal that Kate Middleton, who is married to Andrew’s nephew Prince William, played a major role in the disgraced former royal’s downfall. Indeed, Kate was reportedly a key ally of Charles when he made the difficult decision to strip his younger brother of his titles.
Kate’s Key Role In Andrew’s Downfall
“Kate Middleton is obviously a power behind the throne, supporting King Charles and Prince William in saving and securing the future of the royal family and her own determined destiny to become queen,” royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News. “A smiling face to the camera, a steely resolve in private, she desires to protect the destinies of her husband Prince William and their eldest son Prince George, while doing her part in saving the royal brand.”
“She is determined to create the right image constantly,” Pelham Turner continued. “I believe there was not much love lost between her and Andrew, who allegedly spoke shamelessly about her to William, creating an angry confrontation between uncle and nephew to a point where Andrew’s fate was sealed.”
‘A Family Decision’
This comes after a source who knows the King personally told People Magazine that this was a “family decision.”
“He would have been really exasperated with it,” the insider said of Charles. “Andrew had been given so many chances and opportunities to do the right thing. And he would be exasperated that he had to make a difficult decision rather than Andrew dealing with it. He would find it quite painful.”
The source went on to say that both William and Kate played a role in the decision. Queen Camilla, Charles’ wife, was reportedly involved as well.
“There would have been a push from Camilla and Catherine. And there was pressure from William, who would not want to inherit the headache,” the insider explained. “It was a family decision. It was quite strong, and I was quite proud when I heard it.”
Pelham Turner believes that Kate, 43, even helped the King to draw up the official statement announcing that Andrew had lost his titles. In the statement, Charles said that “their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
“Kate has blossomed, media-wise, especially after announcing her cancer,” Pelham Turner said. “She is a dutiful wife, mother and queen apparent in waiting. Her skills in promoting that public persona are legendary. So, like a fearsome tigress protecting her brood, the issues befalling Andrew and how that could cause a real upset in the royal evolution would find her most determined to ensure his demolition.”
Kate Focuses On Monarchy’s Future
British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard was quick to agree. According to her, both William and Kate are firmly focused on the future of the monarchy. It had become abundantly clear to them that Andrew posed a threat to that.
“Princess Catherine and Prince William are not going to allow the beginning of their reign to be blighted by anything that can be sorted and fixed now,” Chard explained. “The Andrew saga is a problem that could have clouded the monarchy’s future. Who wants to inherit the headache of controversies?”
“Princess Catherine was involved in discussions involving stripping Andrew of his titles,” she continued. “She plays a pivotal role in the monarchy’s future. The monarchy has depended on strong women.”
“Much-loved and admired Princess Catherine is one of these strong, popular women. A woman in control of her agenda,” Chard added. “Solution-focused and resilient, Princess Catherine is known as a peacemaker. She even acts as the glue between her husband and father-in-law when tensions rise. Her communication skills are an asset.”
Andrew Allegedly ‘Rude’ To Kate
This comes one month after it was alleged that Andrew has made “rude” comments about Kate in the past. The remarks reportedly “infuriated” William, straining his relationship with his uncle forever.
“The feud between Prince William and Prince Andrew started primarily due to Andrew’s jealousy and resulting disparaging remarks regarding Kate Middleton,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich claimed to Fox News. “Prince William was infuriated. Being fiercely protective, he instituted a zero-tolerance policy toward any wayward behavior or scandals involving Prince Andrew.”
Perhaps Andrew should have thought twice before he ever messed with Kate. In the end, we can certainly see why Kate and the rest of the royal family want nothing to do with Andrew moving forward!
