Joy Behar launched a truly vile attack on Jesus Christ himself on Tuesday’s episode of her ABC talk show The View. Indeed, she appeared to briefly argue that Jesus would be considered a narcissist by modern standards.
Behar Attacks Jesus Christ
Behar, 83, made this argument as she pushed back on a correction from co-host Sara Haines, 48. This came after Haines took issue with Behar swearing that Jesus Christ did not “run around saying, ‘I’m the Messiah, I’m the Messiah'” back when he was amassing apostles.
Haines fired back by arguing, “That’s exactly what Jesus said!”
This exchange happened as the panel discussed President Donald Trump’s since-deleted AI art image that appeared to depict himself as Jesus.
“No he did not,” Behar told Haines. “Jesus was not narcissistic like this guy.”
“When you are the Messiah, it’s not narcissism to say it!” Haines replied.
“Yes it is,” Behar responded. This left her co-hosts visibly stunned.
“When you are the Messiah!?” a shocked Haines asked.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg, 70, then stepped in as she tried to get the panel back under control.
“I’m going to move this along, because this is like, too much for me,” Goldberg said.

Behar’s Previous Comments
One day before, the women of The View had slammed Trump’s claim that the AI post was actually meant to portray him as “a doctor” rather than as Jesus.
“He seems to really believe American people are so stupid that they would believe, you know, light is emanating from a doctor’s hands,” Behar said in response to that.
The conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously served as Trump’s communications director, pointed out that the garb in the AI image looked Christ-like.
“I’m married to a doctor, and I usually don’t see that outfit,” co-host Sunny Hostin quipped.

Trump Defends Himself
President Trump spoke out on Monday to defend himself for posting this image.
“I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor — and, had to do with Red Cross, as a Red Cross worker there, which we support,” Trump explained. “And only the fake news could come up with that one. So I just heard about it, and I said, ‘How do they come up with that?’ It’s supposed to be me as a doctor making people better, and I do make people better. I make people a lot better.”
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) revealed on Tuesday that he personally called Trump and told him to delete the image.
“I talked to the president about it as soon as I saw it and told him that I don’t think it was being received in the same way he intended it,” Johnson told reporters. “He agreed and he pulled it down. That was the right thing to do.”
Whether you agree with Trump posting this image or not, it can’t be denied that Behar’s comments about Jesus were incredibly offensive. Shame on Behar for thinking that it’s acceptable to disrespect Jesus Christ in such a blatant way!
