It’s been ten months since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finalized their divorce after just two years of marriage. Now, Lopez’s past has come back to haunt her as her first ex-husband Ojani Noa is speaking out to slam her.
Lopez Ripped By Ex-Husband
Noa, 51, married Lopez, 56, in 1997. They were together for less than a year before they divorced, a with him later alleging that she cheated on him. Noa was the first of Lopez’s four husbands, each of whom she has divorced.
On Saturday, Noa took to Instagram to eviscerate Lopez, saying that she is “the problem” in her relationships. He launched this attack on Lopez in response to comments that she’d made days before while appearing on The Howard Stern Show. There, Lopez claimed that she had never been loved because her exes were “not capable.”
“Stop putting us down. Stop putting me down with your victim card,” Noa began. “The problem is not us. Not me. The problem is you. You’re the one who couldn’t keep it in your pants.”
“You have been ‘loved’ a few times,” he continued. “You have been married 4 times. And have had countless relationships in between. You’ve had good relationships… Me for example.”
Noa Doubles Down
Noa went on to claim that he “was in love” with Lopez, adding that he “moved out of state to support, protect and care for you. “
“I’m an amazing, loving person, great human being. Honest, faithful to you, never lied, never miss behave, never cheated on you,” Noa wrote. “I was good to you. I’m too good of a [man] for you.”
“But you. You chose fame and fortune moving apart of our relationship,” he added. “You decided to lie, to cheat on me and even though I stayed. I even tried to keep the marriage going and alive. You begged me to keep the marriage intact to avoid bad press caring more about you.”
Noa then accused Lopez of choosing “the fast lane” of her career and fame instead of caring about him.
“You wanted to continue cheating and lying. I couldn’t stay anymore and deal with the constantly lying,”. That’s why I left you. That’s why I divorced you,” he concluded. “Tell the truth for once. Let people know you are the problem. You should be embarrassed, ashamed of yourself.”
Lopez’s Marriage History
Lopez met Noa back in 1996 at Gloria Estefan’s restaurant in Miami, Florida. At the time, he was working there as a waiter. They married in February of 1997, only to divorce eleven months later.
Noa has never remarried. Meanwhile, Lopez has been married four times.
After divorcing Noa, Lopez married her backup dancer Cris Judd in 2001. They split the next year and divorced in 2003.
Lopez began dating Affleck amidst their divorce, even becoming engaged to him. However, they called off their engagement in 2004. That same year, Lopez married the singer Marc Anthony. She welcomed twins with him in 2008 before they divorced in 2014.
Lopez and Affleck reunited and quickly rekindled their romance in April of 2021. They went on to marry in July of 2022.
Sadly, it didn’t take long for their marriage to go off the rails. Lopez filed for divorce in August of 2024, citing their date of separation as April 26 of that year. Their divorce was finalized in January of 2025.
Lopez is currently promoting her new movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, which she is already garnering Oscar buzz for. She undoubtedly isn’t pleased that Noa has resurfaced to accuse her of being the “problem” in all of her failed marriages.
