It’s been nine months since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finalized their divorce after just two years of marriage. Now, things have gotten even worse for Lopez and Affleck, as they’ve just suffered one last loss together that is costing them $9 million.

Lopez Struggle To Sell Mansion

Lopez, 56, and Affleck, 53, have been desperately trying to sell their Beverly Hills, California mansion for the past year. They bought the home two years ago for nearly $61 million.

Now, after the mansion has languished on the market for months, Lopez and Affleck have reluctantly relisted the property for $52 million. This means that the former couple stands to lose a staggering $9 million on this home.

The roughly 38,000-square-foot home is located on a 5.2-acre promontory in the ritzy Beverly Crest neighborhood. Lopez and Affleck initially put the mansion on the market for $68 million in July of 2024. After multiple price cuts, the home is now being sold for $16 million below the original asking price.

An Incredible Mansion

According to The New York Post, this mansion boasts “12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms and a host of high-end amenities, including a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse, a separate caretaker house and a two-bedroom guard unit.”

The home additionally comes with “an indoor sports complex with basketball and pickleball courts, a gym, a boxing ring, a bar-equipped sports lounge, a home theater, plus a zero-edge pool with sun shelf and hot tub.”

On top of that, the property boasts a twelve car garage. There’s also more parking for dozens of vehicles if needed.

Lopez appears to still be living in the home while she tries to sell it. Earlier this month, she took to Instagram to share photos of herself inside this mansion. Lopez And Affleck’s History

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August of 2024. This came just one month after they put their Beverly Hills mansion on the market.

Though they were only married for two years, Lopez and Affleck’s love story goes back decades.

Lopez and Affleck met in December of 2001 on the set of their infamous movie Gigli. They became engaged the next year, only to shock fans by calling off their planned wedding in 2003 just days before it was set to take place.

Lopez and Affleck each went on to marry and divorce different people. Affleck married Jennifer Garner, an actress best known for starring in the hit TV show Alias, in 2005. They had three children together before they divorced in 2018.

Meanwhile, Lopez married the singer Marc Anthony, staying with him from 2004 until they divorced in 2014. He’s the father of her 17 year-old twins.

Lopez and Affleck reunited and quickly rekindled their romance in April of 2021. They went on to marry in July of 2022.

Sadly, it didn’t take long for their marriage to go off the rails. Lopez filed for divorce in August of 2024, citing their date of separation as April 26 of that year, as we previously stated. Their divorce was finalized in January of 2025.

Though they are each incredibly wealthy, neither Lopez nor Affleck can be very happy to lose $9 million on their Beverly Hills mansion. Here’s hoping that they can sell it without having to slash the price any further!
