A Jennifer Lopez concert went completely off the rails on Sunday in a truly nerve-wracking way.
Lopez, 56, was performing at the Central Stadium in Almaty, Kazakhstan on Sunday when a grasshopper started crawling up her neck.
Grasshopper Crawls Up Lopez’s Neck Mid-Concert
In video that has immediately gone viral, Lopez can be seen smiling nervously as the creature makes it’s way up her halter top. Ever the professional, Lopez manages to keep it together until the insect reaches her bare neck.
It seems that Lopez was able to hold her composure long enough to finish the song. Once it was completed, however, she immediately stopped the concert to swat the grasshopper away once and for all.
“It was tickling me!” a visibly shaken Lopez screamed as the audience applauded her.
The video has already gone viral on Instagram. There, it was posted along with the caption, “Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman… on stage… in real time.”
This is a reference to Lopez’s upcoming movie Kiss Of The Spider Woman, which is already garnering Oscar buzz for her. It’s set to be released in October.

Lopez’s Difficult Year
Lopez is preparing to close out her 21-date Up All Night: Live in 2025 Tour on Tuesday night at Italy’s Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia. She will then be kicking off her 12-date Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency, which is set to begin at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum on December 30.
Last year, Lopez canceled her 30-date This is Me… Live: The Greatest Hits tour amidst embarrassingly low ticket sales. However, Lopez claimed at the time that she was “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.”
Weeks later, Lopez filed for divorce from the Hollywood star Ben Affleck after just two years of marriage.

Lopez’s Shocking Sex Confession
This grasshopper incident comes weeks after Lopez shocked the world by making a wild sex confession onstage.
Last month, Lopez was performing at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy. There, she admitted that her sexual desires in the bedroom have been shifting as of late. Indeed, Lopez told her fans that she is feeling more “naughty” than ever before when it comes to her sexual exploits.
“I have to be honest with you, sometimes I get in different moods at night. I don’t know about you, but I do — and sometimes I like it hard,” Lopez began. “Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow.”
“But there’s other days . . . maybe because it’s a new kind of time for me, maybe because it’s summertime and it’s hot outside, I feel a little more naughty,” she continued.
Lopez couldn’t help but laugh as the crowd audibly reacted to what she had to say.
“You ever get that feeling?” she asked them. “Where you feel like being naughty? On those days, I like it real fast.”
This didn’t sit well with the former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who took to social media to respond.
“So she’s a soft porn star now. Great choices!” Kelly wrote alongside a video of Lopez’s sexually explicit performance.
