Last month, we reported that the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston is dating the renowned hypnotist Jim Curtis. Now, insiders are revealing new details about their “very different” romance.

Aniston’s ‘Very Difference’ New Romance

Aniston, 56, spent her entire summer enjoying her romance with Curtis. An insider close to Aniston told People Magazine that this is her first relationship quite some time because she “didn’t date seriously for a while.” Despite this, things are already getting serious with Curtis, as their relationship “feels different.”

“Jim’s great. Her close friends love him. He’s amazing to be around,” the source said. “He has this really calm and secure energy. Jen loves it.”

The insider went on to say that Aniston is “so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects” amid her career. Yet Curtis has “helped her turn inwards and slow down a bit.” Indeed, Curtis is using his skills as a transformational coach to help Aniston “really appreciate and feel proud of everything she’s built.”

“She can be very hard on herself,” the source explained. “He supports her in a way that feels new.”

The insider concluded by saying that while it’s still “early” for this couple, “it’s really positive.”

“He feels very safe for her,” the source stated.

Aniston’s Romantic History

Aniston’s love life has been a difficult one, to say the least. Indeed, she’s been married and divorced twice, both times to major Hollywood star.

Aniston was first married to the Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt from 2000 until they divorced in 2005. Their split came after he cheated on Aniston with the A-list Hollywood star Angelina Jolie on the set of their 2005 movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

This was a difficult time for Aniston, who still refers to this period as the “love triangle” years.

“It was … such a vulnerable time,” Aniston told Vanity Fair earlier this month. “Journalism back then felt more like a form of a sport.”

Aniston went on to claim that she has “PTSD” stemming from the tabloid frenzy over this “love triangle.”

“There’s obviously some PTSD we all have, which is why these [interviews] scare me,” Aniston admitted. “How are they going to misinterpret my words or take something out of context? And one line nowadays …”

“It was such juicy reading for people,” Aniston recalled. “If they didn’t have their soap operas, they had their tabloids. It’s a shame that it had to happen, but it happened. And boy did I take it personally.”

Aniston went on to marry the former Mulholland Dr. star Justin Theroux in 2015. They later divorced in 2018. Aniston has never had any children.

Curtis’ History

Meanwhile, Curtis describes himself on his official website as being a “wellness pioneer, author and hypnotist.”

“For the last 25 years my mission has been to change the health and wellness of the world,” he wrote. “First as an entrepreneur and executive at companies like WebMD, Everyday Health, HealthCentral and The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and now as a author, speaker, coach and educator.”

“Through hypno-realizations, I not only transformed my health, anxiety and relationships, I’ve helped thousands of others break free from their past & patterns to create an entirely new reality full of connection, community and love,” Curtis continued.

Curtis has been married and divorced once, and he has one son. He’s admitted to having a strained relationship with his son, who lives across the country from him on the east coast with his mother.

“I wish I had a better relationship with my son, but he lives with his mother most of the time, and he’s pissed at me,” Curtis wrote in his 2017 book The Stimulati Experience. Aniston is known to have read this book before she started dating Curtis.

Aniston has been one of the most popular stars in Hollywood. Though this relationship is still in its infancy, we’re glad it’s going well so far. Here’s hoping that Aniston and Curtis have many years of happiness together to come!
