Yesterday, we reported that the Food Network star Anne Burrell died suddenly on Tuesday morning at the age of 55. Now, it’s been revealed that the Worst Cooks In America star was talking about appearing on Meghan Markle’s show weeks before she was found dead.

Burrell Talks Meghan’s Cooking Show

In April, two months before her death, an animated and enthusiastic Burrell gushed over how much she was enjoying married life. Indeed, she had been married to her husband Stuart Claxton since October of 2021.

“October will be four years,” Burrell told Daily Mail at the City Harvest gala. “It seems like it’s been four minutes. I don’t know if it’s a honeymoon [phase], but I feel like it’s settled into married life days which I really enjoy.”

Burrell went on to discuss potentially appearing on Meghan’s cooking show on Netflix.

“Sure, of course. I’d go to the opening of an envelope. Why not cook with Meghan?” Burrell quipped when asked if she’d be up for being a guest on the Netflix series.

Burrell then admitted that she hadn’t yet tried Meghan’s controversial As Ever jam.

“I’m not really a jam girl,” Burrell explained. “Occasionally I make them for my husband. I make scones and we have jam then. Other than that, I wouldn’t say I’m super jammy.”

Sadly, it appears that Burrell never got the chance to appear on Meghan’s Netflix show before her untimely death.
