Elisabeth Hasselbeck sent a brutal message to Megyn Kelly while guest hosting The View on Tuesday morning. Kelly wasted no time in firing back at her fellow conservative pundit.
Hasselbeck Calls Out Kelly
Hasselbeck, 48, slammed Kelly, 55, for her public condemnation of the US’s strikes on Iran.
“If I can just say this, number one: Megyn Kelly’s clip that we ran before saying who those troops died for. How dare you, Megyn Kelly?” Hasselbeck said.
“When they are sacrificing their lives in our uniform, how dare you tell them, or their families, or our nation, what they died for?” she continued.

Kelly Fires Back
Kelly, however was not having any of it.
“Elisabeth was too weak to handle the ladies of The View and even the morning set on Fox and Friends,” Kelly told Daily Mail.
Hasselbeck was fired from The View back in 2013. This came after she got into an argument with co-hosts Barbara Walters and Joy Behar on live television. In 2015, Hasselbeck quit her job at Fox after just two years with the network.
“She ran from the public square into exile so she could avoid mean people saying unflattering things about her – and there are many to say,” Kelly said. “Now she thinks she’s going to come back for a day and be the arbiter of appropriate conversation around the war we just launched in Iran? Please. No one gives a [expletive] what this know-nothing has to say.”
Kelly Turns On Trump
Kelly has been a longtime supporter of President Donald Trump. However, she broke with the president on Monday over his initial strike against Iran two days before.
Referring to U.S. soldiers killed in the conflict, Kelly said, “My own feeling is no one should have to die for a foreign country. I don’t think those four service members died for the United States.”
Kelly went on to express her belief that the White House didn’t make a strong enough case for the bombing of Iran. The bombing took place on Saturday with the assistance of Israeli forces. The death toll of American service personnel has risen to six in the days since then.
Kelly accused Trump of lying when he claimed that Iran was about to launch a preemptive strike against the U.S.
“Does it make any sense to you that Iran was planning preemptive strikes against us and our civilians, knowing full well of the massive military assets we had moved into the region, the aircraft carriers and so on?” Kelly stated. “Obviously, it doesn’t.”
Not stopping there, Kelly said that while she is “praying for the troops,” she’s also questioning why they were taking part in such a mission.
“My own feeling is no one should have to die for a foreign country,” Kelly lamented. “This feels very much to me like it is clearly Israel’s war.”
Clearly, there is no love lost between Kelly and Hasselbeck, who will be co-hosting The View for the rest of the week. Only time will tell if she takes the time to hit back at Kelly over her latest comments!
