Dolly Parton has long been known as one of the most beloved country music stars of all time. Indeed, unlike the vast majority of celebrities, it’s always been clear that Parton truly does have a heart of gold.

Parton just showed that once again when she announced her latest venture. This one will help truck drivers, families, and road trippers all travel in style with some good ol’ southern hospitality.

Parton’s Latest Venture

Parton, 79, has just announced the roll-out of Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stops. These rest-stops will feature new and reimagined entertainment elements, and they’ll be located all over Tennessee.

“I have spent the bulk of my life on the road, and more specifically on a bus,” Parton said in an official press release. “All the years spent visiting greasy spoon cafes, truck stops, and roadside pit stops have given me an understanding of what traveler’s desire on the road.”

“Whether you are driving a truck, a bus, or a car, you want a place that feels like home and recharges you for the rest of your journey,” she continued. “I believe we will fill a void out there on the highways, all while bringing the heart and soul of Tennessee.”

For this venture, Parton has teamed up with the Tennessean Travel Stop as they relaunch their flagship stop in Cornersville, Tennessee. Additional locations are set to be announced in 2026.

“The Tennessean has long been a ‘home away from home’ for truck drivers, travelers and locals alike. Our roots in this community run deep. We’ve created jobs, built connections and welcomed generations of people through our doors,” Gregory Sachs, chairman and CEO of the Tennessean Travel Stop and Sachs Capital Group, told Fox News.

“This new partnership allows us to carry that legacy forward in a way that celebrates everything special about Tennessee,” he added.

Parton’s ‘Love For Her Home State’

Despite being one of the most famous women in the world, Parton has never forgotten her Tennessee roots. That’s why she’s going above and beyond to upgrade these rest stops. Indeed, she’s hoping to bring more jobs to communities all over her home state.

Danny Nozell, CEO of CTK Enterprises and long-time manager of Parton, released a brief statement of his own. In it, he revealed the “Jolene” singer’s ultimate goal behind this project.

“Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stops will be more than a place to refuel — it’s about recharging the spirit,” Nozell stated. “This project reflects Dolly’s love for her home state. And her commitment to supporting local business, community, and the travelers who keep America moving.”

Parton: A Businesswoman And Philanthropist

On top of being a country music legend and pop culture icon, Parton is also a businesswoman and philanthropist. Indeed, she has her hugely successful Dollywood theme park, as well as a perfume line, makeup brand, wine company, and more.

On top of all that, Parton has her Imagination Library, which has gifted over 300 million free books to children all over the world. She launched this program in 1995 with the goal of helping children all over the world learn to read. Parton’s Imagination Library now spans five continents and provides millions of books to kids every year.

“When I was growing up in the hills of East Tennessee, I knew my dreams would come true,” Parton previously said of her Imagination Library. “I know there are children in your community with their own dreams. They dream of becoming a doctor or an inventor or a minister. Who knows, maybe there is a little girl whose dream is to be a writer and singer.”

“The seeds of these dreams are often found in books and the seeds you help plant in your community can grow across the world,” she concluded.

This all just serves as a reminder that Parton might just have the biggest heart of anyone in the entertainment world. If only we had more celebrities like her out there.

God bless you, Dolly Parton!
