Dolly Parton has been one of the most famous country music stars in the world for decades. However, that hasn’t stopped her from continuing to be one of the most down-to-earth celebrities in the entertainment industry.

Parton showed that once again this week when she revealed her go-to order at Taco Bell. Indeed, despite having a net worth of $650 million, Parton still loves her some Taco Bell!

Parton’s Favorite Taco Bell Order

“I like the others, but they fall apart so bad, especially if you’re riding around,” Parton, 79, told Business Insider. “So I always get a Taco Supreme, with the sour cream and all that, in the soft shell. I love that.”

Aside from her love for the soft-shell taco, Parton has also admitted to being a fan of the once-discontinued Mexican Pizza. Some might remember that in 2022, Parton was one of the celebrities who participated in Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza: The Musical. There, Parton and her fellow stars demanded the return of the beloved food item.

“I was just one of many, many people that had missed them,” Parton said of her participation in this musical. “I’d just make them bigger so I could have more of it!”

The Mexican Pizza consists of ground beef and refried beans sandwiched between two tortilla shells that’s topped with cheese, tomatoes and pizza sauce. It spent 35 years on the Taco Bell menu before it was controversially discontinued in November of 2022.

After pressure from the public, the Mexican Pizza was brought back in 2022. Taco Bell executives later confirmed that they brought this item back to the menu thanks to the viral Change.org “Save the Mexican Pizza” petition.

Parton Loves To Cook

While Parton loves getting Taco Bell, she also loves getting in the kitchen herself. Indeed, Parton recently released the cookbook Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year of Meals with her younger sister Rachel Parton George, 66. Parton just revealed in a joint interview with George she learned how to cook “out of necessity” as one of 12 children.

“We’d have to climb up on the chairs to peel potatoes, turnips or whatever,” Parton told People Magazine. “We were really helping out when Mama was not well, or in bed with a kid or having a new baby or whatever… so my first [lesson] came out of just really being a necessity of us helping mom as the older girls.”

George chimed in to add that Parton is good at making chicken and dumplings. Despite this, she didn’t include that recipe in their cookbook. While Parton said that this was because it’s not “good lookin’ enough,” George believes it’s because she “won’t tell anyone the recipe.”

“No, I won’t because it’s not good lookin’. It just tastes good,” Parton insisted. “It’s just like Mama said, ‘It’s just got love in it.’ I just put a lot of love in it.”

Most celebrities at Parton’s level let their fame go to their heads. In contrast, Parton has never forgotten her roots. Instead, she’s always stayed true to herself and to her family. It certainly makes it easy to see why Parton is as beloved as she is by millions.

God bless you, Dolly Parton!
