It’s been one month since the music mogul and rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, was arrested and charged with human trafficking and racketeering.
Last week, we reported that Diddy is being sued by some 120 alleged victims, who are represented by the Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee. Now, Diddy has broken his silence through his own lawyers to respond to these claims.
Diddy Denies Claims
Buzbee has claimed that other A-List celebrities are already contacting some of his clients with offers to settle. If true, it could point to a much larger problem than just Diddy by himself.
“The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity,” Diddy’s attorneys told TMZ in a clear swipe at Buzbee.
“In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman,” they added.
This came after Buzbee filed six lawsuits against Diddy on Monday. Four of the accusers in these lawsuits were men, with one of them being just 16 years-old.

More Celebrities Could Be Implicated
It is believed that Buzbee will be filing more lawsuits in the coming weeks. He’s hinted that other celebrities could be named in these lawsuits as well.
“We’re going to follow this evidence wherever it takes us and find the silent accomplices, the enablers [who] enabled this conduct behind closed doors,” Buzzbee said in a press conference earlier this month. “The wall of silence has now been broken and victims are coming forward.”
Buzbee went on to say that he intends to go after his “silent accomplices” and the “cowardly bystanders who watched and egged the assaults on, the facilitators and the corporate entities that profited off the behavior.”
“Many powerful people will be exposed,” Buzbee said. “Many dirty secrets will be revealed.”
Diddy’s lawyer Erica Wolff later fired back, saying, “categorically denies as false and defamatory” the claims being made against him.
“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Wolff stated. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

Diddy’s Arrest
Diddy was arrested on September 16. He was then remanded to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York as he awaits trial. Last week, a judge scheduled Diddy’s trial to begin on May 5.
Diddy has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Indeed, if convicted on all charges, he’s facing a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison.
Meanwhile, Prosecutors claim that Diddy was running a criminal enterprise for years. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Indeed, his lawyers claim that he is innocent of everything that he has been accused of.
It will certainly be interesting to see how this all turns out for Diddy. It will also be fascinating to see if other celebrities end up being implicated.
