The legendary former Friends star Jennifer Aniston is celebrating her 56th birthday today after a few weeks of being plagued with rumors that she is dating the former President Barack Obama.
Aniston Turns 56 – Reveals Her Aging Secrets
Aniston was born on February 11, 1969 in Sherman Oaks, California. You would never know that she was 56 by looking at her, however, as she has managed to maintain an incredibly youthful appearance. Last month, Aniston opened up about her secrets to aging gracefully in a new interview.
“We’ve got to love our bodies,” Aniston explained to Allure. “It’s doing the best it can. It’s been with us since the day we started, so we can’t be too hard on it.”
“Of course, we’re all going to grow older, but how can we thrive as we grow older?” she continued. “And that is about giving your body the attention that it deserves. For me personally, I loved my 30s, but my 20s were nothing. I was a nightmare. I didn’t understand working out until my 30s and 40s.”
Seems easy for her to say. Have you ever noticed it’s always the supermodels with 5% body fat saying that? We have!
‘The 80/20 Approach’
While health and fitness are extremely important to Aniston, she still makes sure to treat herself. Indeed, she believes in what she calls “the 80/20 approach.” Nerds may know this as the Pareto Principle.
“A beautiful martini is always a lovely way to relax,” she said. “You’ve got to live your life. No restrictions—except hard drugs. It’s the 80/20 approach.”
“Eighty percent healthy living and then 20 percent is: Go have a martini, go have your pizza and burgers and stay up late with your friends,” Aniston added. “There’s a balance.”
As for her hopes when it comes to approaching aging as she heads into her 56th year, Aniston replied, “With positivity and gratitude.”
“I mean, we are still here. What’s the alternative? I’m trying not to think about growing older,” she concluded. “I try not to think about age. The world will always be there telling us what your age is and what women should do in society when you’re this or that.”

Rumors About Aniston Dating Obama
This comes at a difficult time for Aniston. She’s spent the past few months fighting off rumors that she’s dating the former President Barack Obama, who is still married to his wife Michelle.
While being interviewed by the late night host Jimmy Kimmel back in October, Aniston was asked directly about claims that she and Obama are an item.
“I was not mad at it, but that is absolutely untrue,” Aniston replied.
“I’ve met him [Obama] once. I know Michelle more than him,” she then claimed, alleging that she only met the former president at a 2007 Hollywood gala before he took office.

Are The Obamas Divorcing?
This has come amidst rumors that the Obamas themselves are heading for divorce. These rumors have only leant credence to the possibility that Obama could be free to date Aniston, should he and Michelle be secretly separated.
“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people. I’m not talking about TMZ, I’m not talking about Perez Hilton, although I love him, he’s my friend,“ Meghan McCain said on political reporter Tara Palmeri’s podcast last month. ”I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true.”
“We’ve heard that for a long time,” replied Palmeri, who has long covered Washington politics. “Like I just heard that they live separate lives.”
