It’s been a decade since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her fellow Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt in 2016. A bitter battle followed that stretched out for eight long years, with their divorce not being finalized until December of 2024.
Jolie ‘Hasn’t Had A Boyfriend’ Since Split
Pitt, 62, has since moved on and is dating the 33 year-old jewelry designer Ines de Ramon. Now, insiders are claiming that Jolie, 50, “hasn’t had a boyfriend” since her split from Pitt.
“Angie has been extremely busy and focused for the past few years. Dating hasn’t been important to her. She hasn’t had a boyfriend,” a source told People Magazine. “She’s pretty much been a single mom since the divorce, so that’s where most of her focus has been.”
Pitt and Jolie are parents to six children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and 17-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. They are believed to all be estranged from Pitt.
“She loves being a mom and always wants to make sure that everyone thrives,” the insider added. “She seems to be doing great.”
Pitt And Jolie’s History
Pitt and Jolie met on the set of the 2005 movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith. At the time, Pitt was still married to the former Friends star Jennifer Aniston. They soon split and he immediately began dating Jolie.
Pitt and Jolie went on to marry in 2014 in a ceremony at their winery in rural France. Jolie then filed for divorce just over two years later in 2016. She filed for divorce days after an alleged altercation on a private jet flight. There, Jolie alleges that Pitt was abusive to her and their six children.
Jolie’s youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, are set to turn 18 in July of this year. Once that happens, it is believed that Jolie will be leaving America. Indeed, she’s long been open about feeling “stuck” in Los Angeles because of her custody agreement with.
“I am here because I have to be here from a divorce,” Jolie admitted to The Hollywood Reporter in 2024. “But as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave.”
Jolie Bashes America
Jolie doubled down on this back in September when she publicly bashed America.
“I love my country, but at this time, I don’t recognize my country,” Jolie told Variety at the time. “I’ve always lived internationally, my family is international, my friends, my life… My worldview is equal, united, and international.”
“Anything anywhere that divides or limits personal expressions and freedoms from anyone, I think, is very dangerous,” she concluded. “These are such serious times that we have to be careful not to say things casually. These are very, very heavy times we are living in together.”

It is believed that Jolie plans to split her time between Europe and Cambodia, where she is a citizen and owns a home.
“She can’t get far enough away from the drama… the only way to take a break is to get out,” said Jae Benjamin, an actor and producer who has been friends with Jolie since 2005.
Perhaps once Jolie flees America, she will be able to finally move on and find love again. Only time will tell if Jolie ends up with a new man in her life anytime soon!
