Madonna went through a serious health ordeal in the summer.

And she celebrated a very special friend who helped her during that time at her concert over the weekend.

‘There’s one very important woman who dragged me to the hospital’

People reports:

During her Saturday night Celebration Tour performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, the “Frozen” singer, 65, gave a shout-out to a friend in the audience that “saved my life,” appearing to reference the “serious bacterial infection” she suffered in June.

In a fan-posted video, Madonna pointed out that there was “one very important woman” who was in the crowd that night that helped her make it through.

“There are some very important people in the room tonight that were with me at the hospital. There’s one very important woman who dragged me to the hospital,” she said in the clip. “I don’t even remember; I passed out on my bathroom floor and woke up in the ICU … She saved my life.”

Madonna also revealed that she was in a medically-induced coma for 48 hours, and “the only voice I heard” during that period was her Kabbalah teacher’s: “I heard him say ‘squeeze my hand,'” she told the crowd.

The story added, “On June 28, the ‘Vogue’ performer’s longtime manager Guy Oseary announced on Instagram that she was in the ICU due to a health scare and was recovering.”

We’re glad Madonna seems to have recovered just fine – and kudos to her helpful friend.
