Whoopi Goldberg Eviscerates ‘Snowflakes’ In Epic New Rant

Whoopi Goldberg shocked everyone on Monday’s episode of “The View” when she let loose on “all the snowflakes in the world” in an epic rant.

Goldberg Sounds Off

Fox News reported that Goldberg went off during a segment about the protests launched by law students at Stanford University in response to Circuit Court judge Stuart Kyle Duncan, who was appointed by Donald Trump, speaking at the school. After being invited to the campus by the Federalist Society, Duncan was shouted down by furious student protesters last week.

“I think back to the State of the Union and this is what we’re teaching people to do, we’re teaching people how to be inappropriate,” Goldberg said. “Yelling at the President of the United States. Calling him a liar.”

“Doing all these things that now our students are saying, well, if it’s okay for you to do it, and you’re supposed to be a lawmaker, I feel the same way because this is my right,” she added. “So maybe all the snowflakes in the world need to get over the fact that people are going to disagree with them, you see?”

Goldberg Doubles Down

Not stopping there, Goldberg proceeded to double down by claiming that members of both the left and the right an be “snowflakes.”

“It’s not just one side or the other,” she continued. ” Everybody has to understand this is how we live. We don’t all agree. We do disagree, and it’s your right to stand up and say, ‘Hey, I don’t agree’ and… either leave or let somebody else tell you what the issue is, but we don’t show our kids that. We show them the nasty part now.”

Goldberg’s co-host Sunny Hostin agreed that the law students went too far.

“College and law school is a wonderful place to have this exchange of ideas. It gets heated sometimes,” she said. “That’s the part that I like. I like the Q&A. I mean, come at me. Let’s have those discussions because that is what the free exchange of ideas is about.”

However, Hostin also criticized Duncan for at one point calling a student an “appalling idiot.”

“I think that’s beneath the dignity of a judge,” she stated. “I think when you have a younger law student come to you and I’ve had some of them really kind of heckle me and attack me, I’m like, all right, you done? Let me respond. That’s the free exchange of ideas that we should have seen here.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin Weighs In

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, who served in the Trump administration, also gave her thoughts on what happened at Stanford.

“I think free speech is a two-way street as well where these students have the right to assemble and to peacefully assemble. If they want to counter-demonstrate or offer counterprogramming, that’s the best way to do it,” she said. “It’s the free exchange of ideas, everyone learns from it. Academia is the place to be challenged by ideas and not to be shut down.”

While we don’t agree with Goldberg on much, we can certainly agree with her that the “snowflakes” of the world need to pipe down. In the end, the world would be a better place if snowflakes everywhere toughened up a bit!

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
