Arnold Schwarzenegger Takes A Stand Against Anti-Semites – ‘They Die As Miserably As They Lived’

Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose father was a member of the Nazi Party, is sending a brutal message to anti-semites in a new video posted to his social media pages.

Schwarzenegger Sounds Off

Variety reported that Schwarzenegger, 75, began his video by calling out anyone who has “heard some conspiracies about Jewish people or any race or gender and thought, ‘That makes sense to me.’”

“There has never been a successful movement based on hate,” the former governor of California said. “Nazis? Losers. The Confederacy? Losers. The Apartheid movement? Losers. I don’t want you to be a loser. I don’t want you to be weak… despite all my friends who might say, ‘Arnold, don’t talk to those people. It’s not worth it,’ I don’t care what they say. I care about you. I think you’re worth it. I know nobody is perfect… I can understand how people can fall into a trap of prejudice and hate.”

“It’s easier to make excuses that the Jewish people conspired to hold you back then it is to admit that you just needed to work harder,” he continued. “It’s easier to hate than it is to learn… Nobody who has chosen the easy path of hate has gotten to the end of the road and said, ‘What a life.’ No. They die as miserably as they lived.”

Not stopping there, Schwarzenegger proceeded to double down.

“No matter how far you’ve gone, I want you to know you still have a chance to choose a life of strength,” the Terminator star said. “You have to fight the war against yourself… The [hate] path is easier — you don’t have to change anything, everything in your life that you aren’t happy about can be somebody else’s fault… [But] you will end up broken. I don’t want you to go through all that.”

Schwarzenegger Discusses His Father’s Nazi History

This comes one year after Schwarzenegger brought up his father’s Nazi history in a message to Russia about the nation’s invasion of Ukraine. During World War II, Schwarzenegger’s father was injured while fighting for the Nazi Army in Leningrad, which is now St. Petersburg, according to The Los Angeles Times

“When my father arrived in Leningrad, he was all pumped up on the lies of his government,” Schwarzenegger said. “And when he left Leningrad, he was broken, physically and mentally.”

“He lived the rest of his life in pain; pain from a broken back, pain from the shrapnel that always reminded him of his terrible years and pain from the guilt that he felt,” he added. “To the Russian soldiers listening to this broadcast: You already know much of the truth that I’m speaking. You’ve seen it in your own eyes. I don’t want you to be broken like my father.”

Schwarzenegger Visits Auschwitz

Schwarzenegger visited the Auschwitz concentration camp last year, according to The New York Post

“This is a story that has to stay alive, this is a story that we have to tell over and over again,” he said during a speech given at the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation.

“I am witness to the ruins of a country broken by the Nazis,” he later added in a statement. “I saw firsthand how this hatred spun out of control and I share these painful memories with the world in the hopes of preventing future tragedies and educating soldiers about personal responsibility. I stand with the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation and their mission of education to ensure NEVER AGAIN.”

Though we’re currently living in a “woke” country that is obsessed with race, anti-semitism is something that is ignored far too often. While we don’t agree with Schwarzenegger on everything, we applaud him for taking a stand on this issue.

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
