Adrien Broner Has Already Won Biggest Fight Of His Career

For Adrien Broner, any opponent he faces from here on out will pale in comparison to battling his own mental health.

The former boxing world champion will make his return to action on February 25 at BLK Prime PPV against Michael Williams, Jr. The two will square off from The Gateway Center in College Park, Georgia.

Broner has been very open about his challenges with his own mental health, including anxiety and depression.

“I’ve been through a lot, but I’m not one to give up easily,” Broner said. “I know I’ve got what it takes to be a champion again, and I’m going to do everything in my power to get there. My mental health is a priority, and I’m taking the necessary steps to get back to my best both inside and outside of the ring.”

Kevin Cunningham has been helping Broner get all his skills back on point. Skills that made him one of the best boxers in the world at one point.

“I can’t wait to get back out there and show everyone what I’m made of,” Broner said. “Coach Cunningham is a no-nonsense type of trainer who keeps me accountable for everything I do inside and outside the ring. He’s been a big blessing and understands what I’ve been going through. I’ve got a lot to prove, and I’m going to do it with my fists. I’m back and better than ever, and I’m going to make the most of this second chance.”
