Matt Damon has shocked the world by claiming that his fellow Hollywood star George Clooney once defected in a litter box that belonged to the actor Richard Kind.

Damon’s Shocking Claim About Clooney

Damon made this claim while presenting Clooney with a Kennedy Center Honor in a ceremony that is not set to air on television until December 28.

“It has been said that my friend George Clooney is the last of the true movie stars,” Damon, 52, said in a clip obtained by E! News

“So I got to thinking about exactly what that meant,” he continued. “Of course, a number of past Kennedy Center honorees have certainly been movie stars in that classic sense — actors with class and sophistication: Cary Grant, Henry Fonda, Paul Newman, Gregory Peck.”

“And then I think of George, a man who defecated in Richard Kind’s kitty litter box as a joke,” Damon added.

Kind, who was seated onstage for the ceremony, responded by giving Damon a salute.

Not stopping there, Damon revealed another prank that Clooney allegedly pulled.

“A man who once stole Bill Clinton’s stationary and wrote fake notes to actors, saying how much the President loved their movies,” he said of Clooney, who is known as a major Democrat donor who regularly rubs shoulders with the Clintons and the Obamas.

Clooney Admits To Pulling Prank

Too Fab reported that Clooney, 61, has been open about pulling this prank on Kind years ago when the two of them were roommates as they tried to make it in Hollywood. Clooney opened up about the prank in an interview last year, saying that he often cleaned up after Kind’s cat to make him think it was constipated.

Clooney remembered Kind telling him, “My little kitty. He hasn’t taken a s–t in, I think, three days.”

“And then he takes the cat to the vet, and they give him this kitty Metamucil,” he continued. “And so now this little kitty is s—ting 15 times a day, and I am scooping it all up, because I have nothing else to do, I have no idea why. It’s just funny.”

That’s when Clooney decided to take his prank even further by defecating in the litter box himself.

“The light bulb, you know, goes off, and I realized what I must do, which is take a s— in the cat box,” he explained. “He’s in there for like a minute, and I don’t hear anything and then, all of a sudden, I hear, ‘Oh, my God! … I come in and I just, tears coming down my eyes, I’m laughing, and slowly he figures it out.”

“He gets madder and madder and, finally, he’s like, ‘I understand humor. Defecation doesn’t make me laugh,'” Clooney added.

Clooney’s Children Also Love Pranks

In a 2020 interview with People Magazine, Clooney revealed that the 5 year-old twins that he shares with his wife Amal have started to take after him when it comes to pulling pranks, with their favorite being called the Nutella-in-the-nappy joke.

“They both have learned to play pranks, which is good fun. I did work with them on putting Nutella in a diaper and then eating it,” he said. “Whenever a stranger is around, they’ll come in holding it, like, ‘Papa, it’s a dirty nappy!’ and I go, ‘Okay, I’ll take care of it,’ and then they eat the Nutella out of the nappy.”

While pranks can be fun, pooping in a litter box might be taking things just a little too far! To see Damon’s full speech about Clooney, tune in to the Kennedy Center Honors when it airs on CBS on December 28.
