Ghislaine Maxwell Gushes Over ‘Dear Friend’ Prince Andrew From Florida Prison As She Serves 20-Year Sentence

Prince Andrew has spent the past few years desperately trying to distance himself from the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged former madam Ghislaine Maxwell, who was recently sentenced to 20 years in prison on sex-trafficking charges.

That’s why it undoubtedly came as very bad news to Andrew when Maxwell gushed over him during a recent interview from the Florida prison where she is serving out her sentence, describing him as a “dear friend.” Check out a photo of Maxwell, 60, in prison below.

Maxwell’s ‘Dear Friend’ Prince Andrew

Maxwell was asked about Andrew, who is the third child of the late Queen Elizabeth, when she was interviewed in prison by Daily Mail.

“Yes, I follow what is happening to him,” she said of the disgraced royal. “He is paying such a price for the association with Jeffrey Epstein. I care about him, and I feel so bad for him.”

When told that Andrew had claimed through his attorneys that he was never close to Maxwell, she replied, “I accept that this friendship could not survive my conviction.”

As for whether or not that she and Andrew can be friends again in the future, Maxwell said, “I don’t have an expectation.”

“People who I have been friends with – and very close friends with – whoever they may be, well, I can’t think about what they will want to do or not do,” she continued. “I can only control what I do.”

Maxwell then claimed that the infamous photo that shows her and Andrew with the alleged Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre was doctored. Giuffre has claimed that she was forced to have sex with Andrew multiple times when she was an underage 17 year-old girl.

Maxwell Discusses Bill Clinton And Donald Trump

Maxwell also talked about her alleged friendship with Bill Clinton, who was known to associate with Epstein.

“It was a special friendship, which continued over the years,” she said of her bond with the former President. “Until…”

Maxwell’s voice then trailed off as she seemed to have alluded to her arrest in July of 2020. 

“We had lots in common,” she added of Clinton. “I feel bad that he is another victim, only because of his association with Jeffrey. I understand that he, like others, can no longer consider me as a friend.”

Maxwell also discussed the former President Donald Trump wishing her well publicly after her arrest.

“He dared, while others didn’t,” she said of Trump. “I was very touched that he would remember me and that he would wish me well. And I was very touched by his remembrance of me. I think anybody who says anything remotely, either positive and/or generous about me seems to attract a lot of negative interest.”

“And in fact, President Trump is famous for thinking and saying what is on his mind like whenever he says it,” she continued. “So was just very touched, as I said. I appreciate it. It gave me a big boost during such a time.”

Maxwell’s Life In Prison

In this same interview, Maxwell talked about what her new life in prison is like for her.

“It’s still jail,” she said. “It’s very far from a cushy country club, as I have seen it reported. You’re locked up the entire time. When they do let you out for an hour there’s not a chair for everybody in the communal space and no way to watch TV.”

Maxwell is currently focused on her appeal, which she said is “already in full bloom.”

“It is a very, very, very strong appeal, across multiple important aspects of the law that need to be looked at and re-adjudicated so that it can be rewritten,” she alleged. 

It remains to be seen whether or not Maxwell’s appeal will work, and if she’ll name some of the other powerful people who may have been involved in Epstein’s crimes. Andrew was forced to step back from royal life after his ties to Epstein were exposed, and he has yet to comment on Maxwell’s latest remarks on him.
